Just finished watching Street Survivor!! Awesome movie, yeah we know how it ends but I was moved to tears at the emotional chaos Artimus felt!! To all the haters well he did get his band help how about a little respect

I like Artimus, but the movie fell flat for me. Would have liked it better if the crash scene was filmed at night, as the actual crash. Plus with a helicopter searching the woods for the plane crash
@tedperry64663 жыл бұрын
I do agree with you that Artimus did help the rescuers to find the site quicker, which had to save life of Leon. Plus he did help Gary soon after crash. Gary won't admit it was Artimus. He claims it was Dean who lifted the door off his chest.

They already new the plane went down. Houstin knew this before Artemis went for help. I think Artemis was afraid the plane would blow up as well. This is why he ran from that area.

Ohhhhhh nooooooooo I’ve been waiting years for a movie about the complicated, tortured genius who was Ronnie Van Zant, the band that he created with his high school buddies, and the four years where they reigned as not just the best Southern rock band, but one of the greatest rock bands ever worldwide. This is a story that’s deeply personal to me. But this is 2020, the year we’re not allowed to have nice things. FML

They went to tampa i think then the next concet they crashed i cant listen to Free Bird it hurts too much they were real they would have NEVER sold out made "The Deal" maybe thats why then we had Hatchet but Danny Joe fucked that up but they were no substitute , God Bless them !

The movie has no music because Judy and Gary have sued Artimus forever to keep him from making a movie because he was spot on in saying they were a tribute band and did not do right by others. I'd ordered the movie on DVD last Monday!!!! I'd got it yesterday afternoon by Fed Ex!!!!! I'd watched twice already!!! Hey I'd was 5 years old in less than day of October 20, 1977 when the plane crash!!! I'm also a fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd both thR original and today's lineup with Ronnie Van Zant's little brother Johnny!!!! I'd like to say to you Artimus Pyle I don't know what's your problem of what you said that Ronnie Van Zant is "Lynyrd Skynyrd" on VH-1's 1997 Behind The Music!!!! Yes he was the original lead singer and the heart and soul of the band! !!! In fact you weren't a longtime member of the band!!!! You'd join the band after Bob Burns had left the group back in 1974!!!! You were in the band from 1975-77 before that plane crash!!! Yes you have gone for help for your former band mates and road crew!!!! This is not in dispute at all but you had changed your story so many times it's hard what to believe or not to believe!!!!! I'd also come to conclusion of Ronnie Van Zant 's widow Judy she was nothing more than a gold digger before and after Ronnie's death!!!!! It was so evident when she'd sued Lynyrd Skynyrd back in 1987 when they'd started a tribute tour!!!!!

Though there is a version of it floating around on KZfaq, I’ll save you the trouble-it’s trash. Aside from one really bad cover there’s no actual Skynyrd music, which goes along with absolutely no character development. All the band members had pretty colorful back stories and we get next to nothing about that or the history of the band (which might be good since these actors are worse than b-list bad). Predictably Artimus is the only one who knows what he’s doing. Even if his account is true (and i know he’s been accused of embellishing at times by other band members), it’s downright disrespectful to the rescuers and community that found the wreck. It makes Pyle out as the sole reason they got help and survived when in fact there were some common folk in town who did extraordinary things to save lives. Skynyrd absolutely deserves a well-done biopic, and this is far from it. For all the tags about this being “about the music”, it’s almost entirely about the plane crash and that’s a damn shame.

Gene Odoms version has been proven credible and some of it contradicts Pyles version,Ronnie's last words wasn't I love you guys,It was quit fuckin with me when Odom the bands security was trying to get him buckled and even went as far to say that ronnie unbuckled himself right before it crashed,The rescuers that were on the scene stated that where 3 of the 4 band members were and one of them being Ronnie that they had to cut the seat beats to get them free only one seat belt wasn't cut suggesting that Ronnie did in fact unbuckle himself after Gene initially buckled him,Also there's no evidence on Plye getting shot,according to the supposed shooter he said he never shot at anyone all he did was shoot a warning shot up in the air,There's alot of contradictions in this movie,Gene Odom to me gives a really good version,but he was hurt alot worse than Pyle and didn't see alot of aftermath things like Pyle did,I think Rossington is wrong to say that Pyle was a coward and hid there's alot of evidence from people like Billy Powell that said that Pyle saved their lives, Really sad that you hate someone so much to say something so hurtful, Really disappointing cuz I'm a huge Rossington fan,Life's too short,Saw Skynyrd last Saturday and Rossington wasn't even on stage,I paid 500 dollars to see a cover band now that's really disappointing,They should have waited until he was well enough to perform but I guess money speaks louder but I heard a few boos when they announced he wasn't there, I wouldn't have went if I knew that
@devintariel37693 жыл бұрын
If anyone is wondering why the planes right engine was flaming well no one really knows. Its possible something caused it to run richer than normal and eventually it ran out of fuel because the fuel gage wasn't working properly. Pilots typically take into account altitude, fuel mixtures, and all that when they make their flight plans. If the pilot had been paying attention, adjustments could have been made in flight preventing the crash.
