When I heard Great Balls of Fire start up, I got chills & got up & danced like I used to do when my great-grandmother used to play it for me as a small child & well into my adulthood. She played piano in our family church, taught piano lessons to the kids in the country (Bethlehem, GA) & everyone called her Aunt Sue Dell! She used to absolutely glow in church & would look up at me in the choir & grin like a mule eatin' briars! She may not have sang like Jerry Lee but she could play every bit as good as he could, even did some of his antics while playing! That was the extent of her wildness by the time I came along but heard she made one hell of a flapper in her day! Everyone had such beautiful voices! I loved the father-daughter duet, the Whitney Houston cover, the My Funny Valentine (my grandma used to listen to that song a lot), just ALL of them!! Thanks for bringing up those memories again for me!!! ❤

To everyone in the comments saying “if I could sing like that, I would never shut up” I can confirm, as someone who has self trained for years to sound like the people in these videos, coming from my very weak voice as a kid till now at the end of my high school career at the head of shows, taking solos, I can say this- I REALLY don’t shut up😂 but for real though- my point is that singing isn’t normally a natural thing that you ist have. It starts off with a huge level of passion, so much so that it doesn’t feel like “practicing” when you do it- more like letting your emotions out and feeling the best you have ever felt. And THAT is why so many people can be great singers, is simply because they KNOW they have the DRIVE to get up and practice each day, because they won’t stop until they know they’ve done everything they can with their voice. even the proffrssionals get voice lessons! broadway singers! adele! you name it! all that said, im self taught, becqus ei dont have thh money or time for lessons yet. but i know ive reached my point where i cant do much more oj my own, as i sound great, amwzing even with certain songs, but i knoe there are safer eays i can use my specific anatomy with the help of a teacher for me. so if you can, get a teacher. and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!!!! AND STAY MOTIVATED! if you can talk, YOU CAN SING!

To everyone who thinks they can't sing: Everyone can. Some people just know how to use their voices for singing intuitively and some have to learn it first. It has a lot to do with muscle memory and technique, which can be learned and someone who knows how to do this by themselves of course will be better much quicker than someone who has to learn it first. But don't be discouraged, singing is a beautiful thing that brings joy to yourself and others, never stop singing if you love doing it even if you think you aren't good.

Even the best singer has off days, though. E.g. Beyonce is very gifted but you can bet her vocals still get pitch corrected or sweetened from time to time. We're seeing the people in this compilation at their best. With big stars it only takes 1 bad performance vs. 99 good-to-great ones for people to start saying they're all looks and no talent. Beautiful people are a dime a dozen; count on the ones that actually break through to be pretty musically gifted as well (with a few exceptions, as always).

@@otti8169 . this is going to be a wall of text. Sorry. Kids pick up music like it's a language when they're very young. So even though you may have a naturally good voice. You've also had your 10,000 hrs of "practice." Even though it may not feel like it you have still spent that time developing your voice. I've been singing and playing guitar for a year. I was initially really horrible at both, but I persevered and I've gotten quite a bit better. Still have a long way to go. I believe that the majority of people have the ability to sing. They've just never been taught how or encouraged to do it. Many parents discourage their kids from learning music. Hell, my parents even paid my sister and I not to do band. Hindsight 20/20 really upsets me.

You are so loved and I care about you so much stranger which is the only reason I’m sharing this with you! Here’s the million-dollar question: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Let’s do a quick test: Have you ever told a lie? (Be honest.) Have you taken anything that belongs to someone else? Have you disobeyed your parents, or said, “Oh my G-d!” or used the name of Jesus to cuss? Have you been greedy, or hated someone? If you have done these wrong things, one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But He loves sinners so much that He made a way for them to be forgiven and go to Heaven instead. He sent His Son, Jesus, who took the punishment they deserve by dying on the cross for them: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then He rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, turn away from sinful (bad) things and put your trust in Jesus. God will forgive you and give you everlasting life. Then read the Bible daily, and obey it (start with the Gospel of John). Learn more at LivingWaters.com Jesus saved me from thinking my identity could be found in my sexuality, I know how that must sound - but Jesus alone is the love you’re looking for, please turn your heart towards Him and follow His Word it’s there to protect us. Repent(turn away from sin) and believe the Gospel or perish 💛He is so worth it and worth everything you’re afraid of losing. “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬-‭11‬

@@nobodydid6462 so you're telling me Neil Armstrong was an ordinary guy? Were people just looking up to him and treating him as a god for no reason? No. He did something no other human had done which makes him unordinary. Mate, people who are famous usually don't live normal lives which makes them unordinary. It's like saying queen was just a group of ordinary people but they weren't because of the fame they had. You can't just take away peoples great achievements and call everyone ordinary lol
