Glad you're on the mend Frank, nice to see you covering this title. Sor 2 has been a favourite of mine for years and the unofficial Sor Remake was great too. I've had a quick go on this and I'm loving the extended combos and art style. Of course, I love that they have the option to unlock the original Sor character models too!

I just realised that I never mentioned that it was available on Nintendo Switch. I can live with that.

We used to play Streets of Rage on a black and white TV and in later levels one of the enemies is the same character model as Blaze so it got confusing as hell. The cartridge with this, Shinobi and GoldenAxe was the best one to have.

Ok this, I need to get this. I need a challenge after beating all of MK11.

Got up to Stage 5 so far, after getting my ass handed to me by the Police captain. LOVING this so far. Art style is glorious, the combat is as good as it ever was the combos are even better. Music is friggin' awesome too!

I found the soundtrack underwhelming, but you can put the retro soundtrack on right off that bat, so that fixes the issue

can you review Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Edition? I definitely feel that it fits with the overall vibe of VVB and would love to hear (all) your thoughts on your favourite iterations of SF over the years.

I was soooo bored around level 3, I don't feel these hold interest or value as games anymore, it's just mash X until level end, onto the next. I used to play 2 when I was a kid on the Sega but as gaming has evolved these things just don't do it for me anymore. I don't find it fun either, the enemies just spam and take the piss. If you out there like it though thats all good.

God the art style is so bad, and Axel is mega slow compared to SOR3. It plays a good game but I can't get beyond how it looks - it's like someone in the west saw one anime and did a poor drawing based on memory.
