If we consider dual purpose (touring and trail riding), is it comparable with the Scram 411 by any means?? (you said the sweet spot for 400X is 80-120, which is the same that you mentioned for Scram).

I think no Look mostly in nacked motorcycles 80 to 100 speed is most comfortable beacuse of wind blast and all scram can not surpass 130 or 140 but 400x can so whenever you want to go fast or want to chase duke or something like that you can open the throttle and go on but vibrations and wind blast will not let you do it for long 2nd thing is riding experience If you watch every videos about scram everyone will tell you it’s a Himalayan with smaller wheel that’s it but 400x is refined than that and more powerful cuz it has engine same a speed 400

That's the "sweet spot" he mentions for almost all 200 - 500 cc bikes.

Scram sweet spot will be anyway less than this one...scram can go above 100, but engine won't be comfortable. This one is a level above, with increase from 25 hp to 40 hp.

Review from owner:- I got the first scrambler 400 x in India. It is a beautiful bike but it can also be your nightmare during monsoons. The dirt is getting accumulated near the rear wheel and showing warning lights causing trouble while riding in rain and also the dirt keeps splashing through the front and rear wheel on to the rider and the pillion rider due to poor design. I've already raised a complaint with the triumph. Let's see how soon they can address this problem.

Idk they have the audacity to dilute the brand, but if they could.. Thruxton 400 will be a very goood addition to this platform. It'll make that platform just perfect. (peronsal opinion)

Don't go for Duke. Either RTR or Triumph. RTR is electronically packed up and also with power. Triumph is something different. It is fully a character oriented one. Should go for test rides. This is only my side of opinion no hates.

@@aravindb9736 CB300 r is quite city oriented or street bike type, you'll not get that amount of ground clearance and little bit off road character in CB when compared to Triumph scram

Bruh, I do long rides on weekends. Probably near 200kms. Right now I have a CB350RS which is a great bike but underpowered on highways. What I am worried about it engine refinement. The bike is not available to test ride for the public. So how tolerable is the vibration and will it affect me on longer rides ? Another questions is size. I am a 6ft guy . Speed 400 felt really small for me . How about this one ?

Could you make a video on the feasibilty of a Yamaha Tenere 300. Company already told that if enough demand is there, they are willing to consider making it. Other countries have T7, so it wont be intresting for them. But here in India it could be a gamechanger. Something close to unicorn tier with adequate power and reliabilty. Nothing fancy is needed; just a peoperly tuned R3 engine, comfortable seats for two, good suspension, around 220 mm ground clearance & decent fuel capacity as well as switchable ABS & TC. If it comes under 5L onroad, it will sell like hot cakes. All the big players are trying to get a piece of the Indian adv market with their half-assed products, just like the current trend of so called pseudo SUVs. A proper T3 could set new standards for performance, just like Tata changed safety standards in our country. Influencers like you could raise the voice on behalf of people like me and make the companies roll out amazing products. Peace ✌

Thanks, brother 😊. I have already pointed out the opportunity of bringing the T7 or a smaller Tenere to become an instant hit in India to Yamaha. Unfortunately, they are looking for dales numbers compared to the other motorcycles in the lineup now, which stops them from doing that.

@@strellinmalayalam They could easily roll out nice retro, scramblers as well as adv bikes with R15, FZ25 & R3 engines. These niches have a proper market in India. Yet they are not choosing to do so. It's a sad reality. Hope one day Yamaha bring out some cool bikes in India. Like when they revolutionized the market with the RD & RX. series of bikes.
