In this ANOVA video presentation, Dr. Allwright will first discuss the ANOVA test as an extension of the independent t-test. The comparison between these two compare-means tests will be followed by a summary of the set-up of the ANOVA test, the assumptions, and an SPSS example to illustrates the details of this test. After the interpretation of the Levene’s test results, Dr. Allwright will discuss the between-groups and within-group comparisons, also known as the post hoc test. Dr. Allwright will conclude the ANOVA presentation by telling the story of the data, including how to interpret the eta squared effect size and social change.
