Great content. I'm retired , drove quite few yrs young man, I love seeing dedicated young folks carrying on the tradition. Kudos to your backing dude,it ain't always easy peasy in a big ole stretch to put that Dane where they want it, but hey ur gettin er done! Love ur rig. Drove Freightliners, and KW's back in my days ( mid, early 90's), yeah, lots changed my man. You got a sweet ride. You take care of it, it'll take care of you. This ole disabled retired vets got your six young man. Get it done! Subscribed for a while now, it's cool to watch the young ones "making their mark" in the industry. God, I sure do miss it. Be blessed. "The Patriot Nomad" down here in sunny ☀️😎 HOT 🔥 Deland Florida. C'ome Oooon.

Lil' Bubba, you sure got a perdy truck 🚛 there, but you ought to put a bigger sleeper on it! Anyway my name is Randy Hopkins, and I used to drive them old things! Started out with a brand spanking new '74 Peterbilt 359, 300 in. wheelbase w/a 120 in. custom walkthrough sleeper! It came with a 3406-B Cat, w/600 hp, and a Super-10 transmission! Nothing fancy like what you got, but it would get me up the hills without dropping a gear! My dad helped me buy it, and even though it was designed for showing with all the bells, and whistles, being a carpenter he decided one day to put a full solid oak floor in it, which a lot of people raved about, plus it got a lot of awards at several of the shows I attended, plus some extras like a year free fuel, and oil, some free meals, and a little extra cash 🏧, which helped out a lot! Anyway they used to call me "The Blue Diamond", or at least that's the handle I used to go by back in the '70's, '80's, and '90's! Anyhoo, I'm from Ft. Worth, Texas (Cowtown), not Funkytown like some people think, but you have yourself a good one, and keep it between the lines, and don't go collecting no road tickets!...😂 At least not like I used to! They ain't no good at truckstops anyway!...😂👍

For starters I definitely gotta give you credit and commend you for driving a stretched frame doing local deliveries. It would be a lot more hassle then it’s worth to me.. But you handle it well.. If there’s one piece of advice I would give; is to watch on your over steer.. Let the trailer do it’s thing first before you start turning so much.. Remember it takes about 4 ft. before you actually see the move that your trying to make

Nice truck. One time I ran to pick up my first load of the day. I was going to swap trucks and haul a 57”. Getting there the tractor was not, it was 40 minutes away. So not to miss the unload I grabbed the trailer and left. When I docked the driver next to me got out and looked. My bumper was dead even to his steer tires of a England. See I had a cabover. Yes I told him a little long.

Damnit boy. Swift drivers are some of the worst. This is coming from a mechanic... We see them all the time out here in Houston TX.

We BARLEY see any kenworths or peterbuilts in. It's usually a swift drivers or other company driver in a Volvo , Freightliner .

Got to love all the drama in any field. The people saying that all the keyboard warriors must be SWIFT drivers are just as bad as the Keyboard warriors. I'm sure there are plenty of good company drivers just like I'm sure there are bad owner/operators. There are good and bad in everything and every profession. By the way as far as I'm concerned, your truck, and your freight all made it there safe and left in one piece so it's a success.

Snaking a trailer with a long hood in a tight spot will always make it harder instead of just resetting to the left, and still didn’t hit the dock straight. I learned that the hard way with my W9 and now that I drive a Cascadia I miss those days driving that long wheelbase. I say just because a truck is “cool” doesn’t mean the driver is cool encogí to drive it.
