I just told my supervisor that I feel so stretched right now. God has asked more of me than I feel I have capacity for. This sermon is 4 years old. I watched it when it aired just because I try to stay loyal to the word of God; however, it met me in a moment I needed a reminder to hold on. God is pushing me to my next and I need to understand there's a shift. To much is given, much is required. He's training me for the next playing field. Thanks Pastor Sarah and Toure! I pray that if you ever have any doubt of your God given anoiting, that He sends you to this message! You have touched my life so radically. One day, I will be able to return the favor.

I'm about to walk into a new job that has a lot of responsibility that I don't even know I can handle. I've been focused on my recovery from a severe eating disorder for a long time. Every word I hear I think it must be a word for recovery. I think this sermon showed me that God has other things in mind (two different plans going on, as Sarah said). While He is ambushing my eating disorder in ways I might not recognize, I need to be still and watch what He's going to do in my actual life. I need to remember the illness doesn't define me and He has more for me. And also that He's not neccessarily going to knock the walls of the ED down in a visable miracle for everyone to see, but that it's going to require my getting in my prayer closet and being stretched to reach real recovery. Ready to be stretched. Ready for the new thing

In 2022, I thank you God for stretching me!! I have lost so much but gained so much more in you!! You have stretched me which has in return helped me identify the gifts you have blessed me with. Thank you! I’m not running. It’s me it’s me oh Lord standing in the need of prayer.
