It works fine for me I got it hooked up to my pedal and guitar and it sounds great I even recorded a cover to a song on it but the noise gate is a bit of a problem

You must be serious . . . the 7B is out! I too like the XLR in the back, keeps the desk clearer. Too bad about the gate, good looking unit.

If you're a beginner podcaster please don't pick this up it sounds like bark is speaking into a fan the whole time. The company needs to fix this whole device

It's a no from me dawg. The noise gate thing, I can only assume is built-in to hide preamp/circuit noise - I'm assuming that because I'm hearing distortion or noise in the signal when you're talking. I'm not going to mince words here - this thing sounds like warm garbage. I also find it a little amusing that it says "One Knob Control Interface" right above the SIX control knobs. A couple neat features, but overall if it doesn't sound good, it's a fail.

5:00 I stream drums live on twitch, and I'm an idiot, people swing by all the time to tell me how bad I am... just plays into the algorithm for more exposure. and lets see them go get their own drum set, mic, and camera and try to do better. I bet they can't even spend ten minutes on live with a crowd. >:/

Doesnt sound terrible here but I am not on headphones. I regret that I have never got to try an SM7B Just want to play with it, for my use it would be way over priced with the current setup

It's really nothing that special in my opinion (sm7b). I only use it when testing interfaces mostly

With headphones it sounds worse than that one 30 dollar condenser xlr mic that is gold

I always want to try an sm7b but i think an sm58 amd re20 might be better for my voice

That would have to be a HARD pass. Its obv. not able to drive that 7B effectively with the gate. And the noise of the pre is kinda ridic. Is it any better with a higher output mic? Is there software that comes with it? Maybe something there? Geeze. This doesnt sound good.

It's better with a lesser mic... But it's still noticeable on the gate. It's just not worth owning sadly

I have heard 30 dollars interfaces sound better than this is a no hell the donner with the xlr to headphone jack sounds better than this 🗑
