these $5 buffets are actually for taxi, bus, and truck drivers. Obviously, not only for them but the idea behind these buffet is for busy drivers to rest up and grab quick and cheap home style meal. For obvious reason, also very popular among university students with limited budget. These kind of buffet/restaurants are called "기사식당" and literal translation is "Driver Restaurant".

Next time you go to S.K., I'd love to see you do a tasting tour of Daegu. The city itself is gorgeous, nestled in this huge bowl valley, and it has a giant research farm in the northern part of the city, so with the right timing you can get farm-to-table at its absolute freshest. And from what I've seen on KZfaq, the monorail ride on the east side is nice, too.

I'm a little new to your channel(thanks to Best Ever Food Review Show via Texas Fair?), so I'm not sure if this is already part of your format... But since you love going to - and I love watching - buffets, could you please include the rules, if any? Sometimes I've heard you say there's a 45 minute limit or such. When there is a flat rate for "all you can eat" (even if you have to buy a drink) when will they actually cut you off? I'm just curious about them, because I live these places through you vicariously and can later imagine myself at the same buffet and enjoying similar foods. Just a small suggestion, even tho I know it means more work for you. Thank you so so so much!
