so one thing to mention: In DCS splash damage is modelled; the bigger the bomb, the wider the damage radius so for the MIGs all you had to do was drop the Mk83s right between them instead of using the cluster bombs on the first pass and the shockwave would do the rest

I just got this campaign because of you, will be my first time trying a campaign, ive only played multiplayer for the past 3 years.

dcs is funny for me because ive squeezed out so much time with it, and memorized all the mechanics to the point where its more of a game to me and less of a sim. notch angles are completely unrealistic, aam performance is in the shitter because of weird drag values, and the air to ground gameplay loop doesnt appeal to me anymore after have done and tried milsim. i mostly do competitive bvr now, but the nature of that really highlights the platforms faults as a sim. for me, falcon bms is the ideal sim, and ive dedicated a lot more time to that lately. (btw, falcon bms is an amazing game and sim if you havent taken a look. the dynamic campaign alone is probably enough content to keep someone occupied for days) i still love dcs as both a game and a sim though. great video man

When you're using unguided munitions, CCIP is generally more accurate than CCRP with practice. IDK if that was your problem with the first cbu drop or not though. This campaign does look its a great intro campaign for the Hornet. If you're interested in the Viper the First in Weasels over Syria campaign is amazing and great for people who are newer to the airframe
