It's not that you have zero training but more like you don't engage with the allmind support programs. Raven's operator, for example, is unranked (possibly D if Raven and the operator shared the same rank) and yet she's not only powerful enough to take down entire PCA fleets but also be on equal footing to Chartreuse and King, who are high A and S rank and seem to be the top 3 mercs of Branch

The fact that they have this voice lines ready is just amazing. No one will do this except for a 'No OS Tuning' challenge run, but even so, this type of challenge will end without even playing the arena. But FromSoft literally goes "Hey what if the player only completes the arena JUST before the ending of NG++?" LMAO

They did something similar with Dark Souls 1. If you rescue Sif in the DLC (boss in the main game) she will recognize you in the cutscene in the main game. There is absolutely no way you will see this if you go with "normal" progression because DLC is hard as balls for knew character, but even then. What maniac in FromSoftware thought of this?

Literally earlier today I was going through the game files and found an Allmind voice line where she said: "Are you the type of person who doesn't start work until *just* before the deadline?" Thought it was a cut voice line, but now I'm wondering if it can be triggered by doing the arena challenges at a certain point in the story. Edit: NEVERMIND, just saw your other video. It's for doing the log hunts late. So glad the voice line is in the game and not cut! :D

I love that From Software planned for the tiny, tiny fraction of players who would put off the Arena and programmed these lines into the game. A lot of game developers probably wouldn't have bothered and would have left the generic responses in place. Stuff like this or Michigan's reaction to going into the Ice Worm mission without the needle launcher are solid gold.

I'm amazed that FromSoft have thought to include voice lines for alternate scenarios. Like when you use a repair kit in the opening mission before its tutorial pops up. Or when you destroy the boss on top of the Wall before Rusty leaves. Or when you approach Swinburne instead of attacking him from the outset. Or when you're up against two or three named ACs, dialogues change depending on whom you kill first. I'm sure there are many more, but these are just off the top of my head. FromSoft know gamers will try some things and they've really thought of every outcome.

A shame they didn’t think of a scenario where the player is able to save “Chatty” Stick from V.I Freud in the “Fires of Raven” path since it’s a scripted event where you have no chance of reaching him and if you instakill Freud using commands, it only results in the game bugging out.

That’s one of the things I actually find interesting about some Ai characters, when written in a certain/the right way- The conflict between how they both can feel like/be a surprisingly human person in mindset/personality, And what are usually pretty black and white/firm restrictions/programming- Hal’s literal psychotic break from being given an order that violated his core programming,with the same priority, is one classic, Im pretty sure there were some spirited arguments -and- genuinely insightful discussions about how much of H1/Nineball and the NEST mainframe’s actions were forced by their imperatives, and how much was actual bloody-mindedness/conscious, willing malice- I mean, it’s hard work out how “butchered the Pc’s entire family, seemingly at random/without a contract or provocation”, followed by an entire game (MOA) of manipulating them into getting themself killed fruitlessly looking for you” could be something other then a sadistic mind game- And then there’s those glorious moments when you see an artificial superinteligence get thrown for a loop so badly, it lets it’s mask slip,and starts using contractions/a “people voice” without demodulating its pitch for a cover identity, and you start laughing hysterically xD

Fun Fact: Allmind also has dialogue that labels you a procrastinator, if you wait till the last mission to turn in every combat log. It's something along the lines of "Thank you for your combat data collection, you must be the type of person that does all their work at the last moment, aren't you?" Edit: Nevermind, this person at least knew and also has a video about it too.... whoops lol.

I remember getting some line from her when finishing all missions saying something like: "Do you always wait until the last second with your assignments?" I legit never knew about the training programs being an important thing. I skipped it over due to being familiar with Armored Core’s controls. It wasn’t till three playthroughs in I was like “Where the heck do you get that machinegun Iguazu uses?” that I went back and did all of it.

I love how AllMind constantly sounds very monotone and robotic, even when saying her last words after getting destroyed by 621 (and Iguazu's incompetence), but the moment she was shocked enough to deliver a line with genuine emotion is when she finds out that after 2 playthroughs and almost achieving coral realese 621 never did the tutorial, he is just now getting certified and that's what gets her to show emotions lmao

FROMSOFT needs to really get deep with these NG+ content in their future games. I understand this is Armored Core, but I would absolutely LOVE a souls game where if you NG+, you get a totally different storyline that was never available to you in the initial play through.

It’s hilarious because to her she expected you to be a skilled pilot capable of overcoming any threat So to see you did all that without even doing the basic training course implies to her that you were piloting heavy war machinery capable of demolishing most advanced tech that came your way without even knowing what fucking buttons you were pressing in the damn thing

The combat simulator of nightfall and training certification lateness shows that ALLMIND doesn’t actually have a data registry for Raven proper rather a hold out spot of sorts in anticipation of an event as such thats also probably how you end up in the program; ALLMIND for much of the game thinks you really are Raven only when you reach the end or around there does ALLMIND realize you aren’t but it seems to be no matter as you made it all that way forwards regardless Or at the very least the license for Raven was registered (temporarily) and then put into a suspended state indicating a mission with branch is being undertaken something to be not under record
