Wow, you weren't lying about the glitter and glam. Happy pride I guess? lmao

For a second I thought that shirtless Kirk was actually a wrestling card before I recognized him! That box went from sketchy to solid in no time flat! I always love the names these wrestling cards have. Good old Groundberg.

Yeah, that wrapping was sketch as hell. Glad to see whoever resealed it was a moron :) Groundberg; is that Goldberg with no arms or legs? lol

Yep. They stole the idea from this game and had to pay royalties. It was way more successful though!

Outside Interference totally describes Nitro during the Russo era.

1st editions have the wotc logo on plastic they cheaped out on the unlimited printing packaging
@DeadDecks7 күн бұрын
That sounds about right, though we have 1st and unlimited and they both have Wizards logos. This box had crinkly wrapping that didn't feel like any others we had opened. We were concerned it might have been a rewrap.

I'm embarrassed to admit I watched this shit back in the day haha. I don't really play any TCGs ever since Jyhad (before they renamed it) way the hell back in the 90s. I've been watching a bunch of retro wrestling content recently and you guys ended up in my feed. I don't even remember this game existing, but it looks like it came out in 2000 when WCW was getting *realllllllly* bad.

Lol, don't be embarrassed bud, we were there with you watching the schlock. We're glad we roped you in for a video at least! We have a few more wrestling openings on the channel. The game was made at the tale end of WCW right before they were bought out by WWF. The game was made by Wizards of the Coast (who also made Jyhad) in 2000. They had one very rare expansion that had Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Tank Abbott in it. The gameplay is actually not bad and Raw Deal ripped them off.

@@DeadDecks I'll be honest, I watched WWF way back in the 80s and my little brother roped me back into WCW when the NWO invasion crap happened. I found it entertaining but I'd honestly mostly lost interest in wrestling in general (so never hopped back over to WWF/E.) By 2000 things were so bad in WCW I was still watching out of morbid fascination just to see what they were going to f up next. (And I still liked some of the cruiserweight matches.)

We watched up until the late 90's but were gone by 2000. We watched a clip on KZfaq from this years Wrestlemania and that is the most we've watched since the 90's. I think the clip was 4 minutes long.

Can you trade in the Nitro points for your own personalized spandex underwear?

Then Dead Dicks would be appropriate.

What's wrong with watching dudes in shorts (no I am not watching a loop of Chris Helmsworth getting out of the shower in Thor again)

Of course you’re not bud, just like we never gobble popcorn while watching Brad Pitts shirtless Fight Club scenes in slo mo. Who would do such a thing?
