Timing is everything. I surf fished for years and only had a blitz this crazy once. That memory keeps me coming back. You just have to keep putting the time in and try different spots. In the meantime just enjoy the experience of being down by the water. Good luck brother

@bobthompson9890 Bob is right. Timing is 90% of the game. I was in a couple blitzes last year, during the early fall run, in a spot that normally ONLY produces when there's surf. Mid summer, those fish would never be there on a flat, calm day. Also, invest in a casting egg and a bunch of surf candy flies that look like bay anchovies, tan over white, or olive over white. I'm a fly fisherman and gave away at least 10 flies last fall to guys fishing near me bc the fish would not touch anything over 2" even during the run. Oh, and NEVER give away a specific spot over social media! Please. You'll find out why in the comments and when you go back and your spot is trashed!

Try setting up a pogy rig with bunker chunks cast out n let it hang on the bottom for a little bit
