My vote for Lil G and Alvin. I understand that breaking doesn't value powermoves as much as the flow an dancing itself, but team Venezuela had an insane level of energy and spirit compared to the over team. Come on, Lil G is like 35 years old and has more energy than Menno and Stripes combined!

They went hard this round, but not as hard as comments gunna be about the results. I watched it over again and after close battle analysis I think Alvin and Lil G may have came into this too cocky like they already won. Maybe next time they'll focus on the win and stop clowning. That routine was so fuego too should have saved it for last round.

I really wanted Lil G and Alvin to win, powermove isn't really appreciated, but I love it because it's energetic and really challenging to perform. Routine was all Powermove and was performed brilliantly, me and the whole crowd got pumped up from it, that's why I love powermove. I'm good at breakdancing, but in this final Menno and Stripes were very boring compared to Lil G and Alvin. But respect to everyone! And thanks to Alvin and Lil G for the bright finale.

I watched this batttle last night and I saw Lil G and Alvin winning. I rewatched the battle tonight without the hype and I can see why the judges voted for Menno and Stripes. Vinotinto had their moments but Stripes and Menno were more consistent with their rounds throughout the battle. Lil G had slips in almost all his rounds. The battle was close and that is why every detail counts.

Lilg y alvin repiten muchos sus movimientos, menno le sobra repertorio, difícil que repita movimientos, tiene un poco de todo, estilo flow, es completo. Por algo es 3 veces campeón del bc one. Los otros, pues… siempre lo ven participar jaja

With it being a 2v2 I think any kind of commando deserves a little more especially when executed well. I thought Alvin carried the two of them more all night, but nevertheless I was just happy to see Lords of the Floor again!

The point is that judges see little slips. And yes, Alvin and Lil G had them. But they also don't understand that high-level "powermove" moves like they do have a high probability of failure, while Menno and Stripes moves stay in a standard spot where the probability of failure is minimal (in a safety zone). The judges do not balance this. So each time the compensation of doing a high level powermove is less and less, and it is sad to see it. Because this is the striking feature of breaking.

Alvin had all the moves. Powermoves, freezes, toprocks and footworks and still they loss that?? Bs robbery of the year

I liked that LOTF came back after 23 years later! I applaud everyone in this one for bringing it! Cheers! HOWEVER...I felt that some winners didn't really win. Those that really did GREAT overall lost. Idk WHY. PERSONALLY it should've been Boogie Brats vs Valentino as the final. Or Style Elements vs Valentino or Style Elements vs Boogie Brats. Heck I was surprised Hong 10 & Physicx lost on the 1st round of battles. Honestly, the entire competition had its moments BUT nothing compared to LOTF 2002!!! 2002 had MEMORABLE and LEGENDARY battles and sets. 2002 felt more hyped and FIRE 🔥. This one 2024 felt eh honestly. Hopefully the next one will be better!

It’s apparent that stripes and Menno won. If you look at it round for round you will understand. 🙏🏼 They literally won by a couple rounds difference. Menno won most his rounds 2/3 if not 3/3. Stripes came a little short in his last couple rounds compared to Alvin yet was very intentional with what he was doing. Lil G and alvin displayed dope skills, but many of the times they were facing the wrong direction or having sloppy exits. They did have a couple of awesome runs, but the arc of their throwdowns became disjointed. Another problem they had was staying on the floor too long - when stripes came in and completely disrupted two his openers… judges don’t like that & that’s fair to say. Alvin‘s last throwdown was the best of their whole set from his side. If all their throwdowns were like that - it might have been maybe a different story. The judges are catching things that you do not see. Most are watching the battle like a fan and not like a judge. For battle spectators, or participants: Probably a good idea to humble yourself first and try to understand why they make those decisions and why the judges are qualified to be in those seats. A breaking battle is like a game of chess; both sides have equal opportunity, but what you do with the pieces and at what time - is what matters. definitely a lot more people need to study breaking instead of just fan boying it. It’s “b-boy .. not “f-boy” So many comments i see about the battle are very immature. One day when you get older if you love the dance enough, you’ll understand why decisions are made, Peace and one love. Fifth element of hip-hop is knowledge. “You must learn” - Krs 1

Was there live at the end of the day both groups crashed in different ways, the judging was very close I wouldn't want to be the one judging this one that's for sure.

This always happens in the scene! I see why... but in the end judges are only judging based on pure breaking and flow, they dont give a crap about energy, powermoves, or musicality, or hard moves! Vinotinto had it pure and clearly. That's just sad they got robbed! Again Menno & Stripes are overall beasts and the can do it all too, but let's judge by overall energy and vibes the battle. And even the whole night! They were the ones bringing that energy up every battle! MVPs for sure Alvin and Lil G. But great stuff redbull for putting this one together!

That was a close one , Lil g and Alvin should have won judging on the dance but because of thiers behaviour 7:35 (you should let the place and let the opponent do his move) it's very unfortunate to ruin the the good round you just did before because of that. They did a lot of touching in other battles too I think that's why they lost

Try to understand the rules of breaking today. If a move or flow is kept on repeating again and again in every rounds. Is a BIG MINUS POINTS TO A JUDGE. Whether you are powerhead or stylehead or both😑.. If there is footwork, there is musicality. If there is powermove, its circus act. But you can do both if you're genius.

I saw quite a few wack judges decisions in this battle. I thought crumbs and ruen got gypped too. And Dias and Amir. I thought the final battle was slightly edged out by Alvin and lil g too!
