I have now officially watched all your videos, and honestly it's the best way i could have spent my time. You are truly a patient man. You have a passion for your work. It is easy to create something beautiful from something that is already beautiful, but taking the diamonds in the rough and polishing it to a pristine shine, that takes time, patience and skill! You are my new favorite reason to watch KZfaq, and i'm looking forward to all your future videos.

I do a lot of quilting work with reclaimed fabric from old clothes like jeans and whatnot as well as fabric promo banners (Currently working my way through a Superbowl banner from my nearest airport that is going to get turned into tote bags) and the seam ripping and cutting to prepare it for use is the hardest part for me, so I can sympathize with the little notes while you were chipping away at the insulation. I imagine you'll either find some use for that copper tubing or sell it for scrap, maybe put that cash into getting more nails and stuff?

Seeing how easily you could slide the scraper in behind the tanks insulation, I'm wondering if you could slice out a 6" wide channel of it, Then lift it off the copper tank in bigger slabs by hitting it with compressed air? If you got the air jet angled just right I'd think it would pop the insulation off the tank a couple square feet at a time. It wouldn't help where there's encapsulated pipes in the stuff, But if it made the other 90% easier to remove it would still be a win.
