Finally got down in the shop and got the factory engine harness out of the car. This is all in preparation for our new Kinnettic Kreation plug and play harness for our srt4 platform and haltech standalone ECU.

Kinetic makes amazing plug and play harnesses. But since Neon owners as well as DSM owners are *always* broke due to repairing their cars, I was forced to make my own. I did use "Mil-spec" Tefzel wiring and DR-25 heatshrink. Sounds intimidating, but if you have a harness to start with, it's not difficult. The Tefzel also cuts the size of the harness down to ~.7 inches total and drops ~10lbs from the weight of just the harness. This option cost about the same as a Kinetic harness though. I have a 99 Spyder and a 98 Neon coupe so I'll definitely be following along.

The connector was dry rotted, it couldn’t have been used.
