My husband had an undetected tooth infection, which led to an infected sinus requiring surgery. One week later, he got blood clots in his lungs from not moving around after the surgery. Had emergency surgery to remove said clots. Doctor said he should have been dead, because his entire lungs were full of clots. Thank God he made it through. He visits the dentist religiously. Still stunned that they never picked up the problem. Dental care is absolutely essential.

@@josephrnemethhi Dr. my temples or sides of the head are tender feeling and hurting. I thought it was stress but around the same time my gum had a small cut and my gums in one area became recessed. I was going through depression and didn’t keep good hygiene at all. What test should be run? I’m very scared and my last doctors visit for another reason the staff didn’t believe me and blamed my marijuana use as psychosis. I know some hospitals don’t like to run test as it cost them money so I’d really like any recommendations as to what to do. I know recommendations can be tricky for you in terms of legal advice but I’m very scared now. Not that I’m freighted believing every google search just that I don’t know if the medical help will help me properly. I heard of a famous football player who passed similarly. Thank you for making this video as you may have just saved my life. ❤

Can you please answer one question for me, can you get cancer from an unremoved impacted wisdom tooth on lower jaw? Cos my dentist told me it can cause cancer if not treated properly, I didn’t believe her, (this was after she had drained the abscess) and it never caused more problems, however later that year I was diagnosed with late stage metastatic bladder cancer !! So I’ve never known what to think of it! So a reply would be much appreciated.

I have a tooth infection for months. Being hypertensive, my dentist told me he couldn't remove it because of my pressure being too high and that I could bleed to death if he had removed it. He prescribed pain killers for me, because the pain in my tooth, head and eyes were excruciating. I had to go back on pressure tabs to controle hypertension, but I couldn't because I was allergic to all those I were on in the past. I didn't know what to do because all the dentists I had tried told me the same thing. So I stopped using excess sugar, and kept brushing. The Lord saw me through this untill one day I was eating and the tooth just fell on my tongue...no bleeding, no pain!!! Glory be to the Lord God Almighty in Jesus's mighty name.

At least you have hope you’ll see him again. I have no hope of ever seeing my dad and those who have passed. This is our one chance. We are lucky we got to live and love and smile at all. Australia has Medicare. It does not pay for dental or eyes. You need to have a private healthcare fund (which only pays a portion) for dental and eyes or pay cash. Luckily, I have recently found a dentist that only charges $199 AUD for a checkup, x-ray, clean, and fluoride. (Can easily cost $320+) Thankfully, I've not had major problems, but I have paid $121 AUD for a filling before. Eye exams are also important. I've heard that undiagnosed diabetes can be detected during an eye exam.

My first dentist after leaving school (and no longer being able to use the trusty school dentist’s clinic) drilled straight into the nerve of the tooth he decided needed treatment. After peeling me off the ceiling he piled mercury filling straight into the hole he had made, on top of the wound - no packing. The first of many sub standard treatments prior to which I would have preferred a visit to the dentist over the doctor any day. Following which I became a nervous wreck even at the thought of making an appointment, never mind turning up for it. I have had two reasonable dentists, out of maybe 10, in the many years since then, both of whom moved to pastures new and were replaced by inadequate brutes.

@@latoriarichardson6754 no, the school dentist wasn't in training, he was the dentist who treated all (as far as I know) of the pupils in the school. It was me who was at school. The guy who did the damage was mother's dentist, a supposedly fully qualified professional. And the last one I saw for years, maybe six of them. I had moved to a totally different town by the time I plucked up the courage to go again and even longer before I found out that that tooth was dead and had to be crowned.

@@Fauna4ever I've had multiple fillings and it's not uncommon to get them too high, making the slightest pressure of biting very painful. The fix is pretty quick and simple. The dentist can grind down the filling a bit making the teeth come together correctly. I just had this done a week ago, a day after my filling was done and was having bad pain. It could be your mother's problem or some other reason, but she should not have to endure pain all these years.

Physio story: I had a patient with mild pain in her left hip after jogging. She came in for a consult and wanted to check technique, and issues she might not have been aware of. At the end of our scheduled sessions, I worked on her big toe on the right side. While she usually left relaxed and happy, she seemed confused and worked up. It was odd, but as young as I was, I didn't know what to make of it. A couple of weeks later, she came in to tell me what happened. She was scheduled to get crowns over three molars. One couldn't bear it or there was a gap, so the last molar was supposed to be one of the anchors. She had gone to the dentist several times due to pain in said molar. The dentist couldn't see anything, and also x-ray didn't show anything. For some reason me working on said toe triggered some inflammation. Hence the confusion. Pain kicked in a few hours later. The tooth had to be pulled, and a chronic infection of the root emerged. Turns out, also the hip problems were a reaction to whatever happened in the jaw. Since then, I have asked most patients about dentist's appointments.

I had 3 root canals years ago. One day i began to have severe pain. It turned out to be an abcess above the gums. I have had several teeth removed and am saving for dentures. I stopped my dental insurance because Medicare doesn't pay for dentures unless you have a cadillac plan and even the you may have to wait 2 years ! So i have only 4 top teeth and 8 lower teeth. I have no chewing teeth, just the biting teeth. I have to eat very mushy food or very tiny pieces of things like meat. I am now figuring out how i can afford decent looking dentures. This stuff should all be covered by regular Medicare. This is what seniors need the most. Not cleanings or fillings when they need to come out.

I started having these episodes where I would go tunnel vision slowly lose my sight then have an endorphin rush get my senses back and shake for 20 minutes. The doctors said take more klonopin. 3 years later I can’t drive, take care of my kids, do my duties as a sahm due to these episodes daily. By chance I stopped drinking my herbal teas, within days I had an abscess in my upper jaw. (Herbals kept infection at bay) Went to dentist got antibiotics followed by a year of extractions in my upper jaw. I haven’t had an episode since my first round of antibiotics. I have my life back. Teeth are no joke. Please take care of them.

Seriously?! Sounds like you're describing the exact same episodes I've been having for years. I've never gone to a Dr about them though. Honestly, I just figured I was standing up too fast or something, although sometimes I'll already be standing when it happens. My teeth are f?*$ed already though. 4 pregnancies, the first 2 back to back with only 3 months in between, destroyed my teeth. I think I only have 8 on the bottom and 3 on the top. Most were extracted and the rest need to be. I just can't afford to finish it all and get dentures or implants. I wonder if it's related.

This is so true There are meridians from every tooth that connect to organs. In 1994 I severed the tendon on my big toe. Had surgery and it became infected with staph. It was cleaned and repaired again but the infection flared up. It took a lot of work to clear it. Meanwhile I looked at a tooth chart and a tooth that had been aching on and off for a while had a crown on it. Underneath the crown there was an infection. The meridian from that tooth went down to the big toe where the tendon was infected.

A cap is absolutely necessary for a treated tooth which has lost a considerable amount of crown structure. Or else that weakened tooth wouldn't be able to bear the forces of occlusion/chewing, and it would end up breaking. (A large filling without proper support would easily break off as well) Cases like the one shown here, are rare and can usually be avoided through proper medical history and health assessment, but sometimes even those aren't enough. It may also be possible, that he patient didn't complete the post procedural antibiotic course timely, or the doctor didn't give them in the first place?!

The doctors kept telling me it was anxiety and sent me home. I was in the ER twice a week at one point. I was only 22 so they refused to believe it was my heart. Now I have perminant damage.

I'm glad that dental insurance is so expensive making it prohibitive and that the level of care i need is not covered by the level of care i could dream to afford. Plus, the deductable is more than i make in a year. And that is just for me. Doesn't include family.

Ok so this makes sense! Back in 2022 mid summer my one tooth was killing me, they found nothing wrong with it. In meantime, headaches, earache. severe pressure in my eyes. Didn’t know why. Was on drops. By end of that year 2022 New Year’s Eve, I had a stroke!! Tho I may be pre diabetic and slightly elevated cholesterol there was no clogged arteries no where including neck etc. I had to see a hemotologist to rule out any gene mutation that may have cause the Kryptogenic Stroke. Meaning they don’t know why I had the stroke. And now I realize I think it was my tooth. I’m finally getting it pulled but only bc I insist. FYI, there was a root canal done long time ago, 😮 and yet I still felt pain. ThankYou for this informative video.

One of my good friends had been not feeling well for quite a long period (almost a year). During that time his dentist had tried to save an infected molar. Eventually he had to have a heart valve replaced. Soon after a different dentist extracted the tooth and it turned out that he had a pocket of infection in his jaw and it was poisoning his entire body including causing the infection that damaged his heart. After the tooth was removed the antibiotics were able to eliminate the infection.

I brush with fine sea salt. At other times I rinse with hydrogen peroxide. Works extremely well killing bacteria. Inexpensive too.

Hey 😊, dental student here on my last year. The best thing you can do is to brush between the teeth and floss. Use higher flour toothpaste. It will stop the caries from further damaging the tooth. Untipl you can get it fixed. Don't brush with salt as it will ruin your enamel and make it thinner. Rinsing with salt water is good. Also don't rinse with hydrogen peroxide everyday as it will kill ALL the mouth bacteria (good and bad ones), that will give space to opportunistic fungi to take over your mouth and you will get candiasis (thrush mouth). So brush 2-3 times a day with higher dose fluoride paste, use alcohol free mouth rinse and most importantly, use dental floss daily. Religiously. You will be ok 👍.

Oil of Oregano (not essential oil) you can buy it all over, works great for tooth infections or any infection because its an antibiotic with no side effects. Edited to add: oregano has broad-spectrum antibiotic qualities. I'm using it right now for an infected gum/tooth. I take it orally and put a gel cap of it on the infection. The cap melts, it provides pain relief and kills the infection. It does taste spicy but that goes away in a few minutes.

Thank you. That's good information to know. I've used Biocidin as an antibiotic. It's a blend of several herbs in a tincture. I use it before going to visit any doctors. It helps biofilm, yeast infections and numerous other things too. It can be hard on your kidneys.

And that is why dental work NEEDS to be part of the canadian medical plan coverage... As a disabled person i have had to pull NINE TEETH MYSELF, using a dismond drill bit, and plyers...( Have to break the tooth and extract the roots separately) Our disability coverage is with blue cross , ehich takes ten years for dentists to get paid, so they refuse to take it... 90% of disabled people over 50 have at least one bad tooth... I have cyclic vomiting syndrome and spend 72 hrs retching three times a month or more...which damages the enamel on teeth... The money our country spends of dental related heathcare issues could easily be reduced by insuring disabled people get better dental coverage...tens of thousands are suffering...😢

I too suffered from cyclic vomiting for about 6-7 years. It started when I was 27 and pregnant with my second daughter.( Who’s 13th birthday is today, crazy enough) I would have weekly or at the least bi-monthly attacks lasting 3-14 days. As you know, this ruins your teeth no matter what you do or how often you rinse/brush!. I basically lost all of my back molars.. At the time, I was on disability and had issues getting seen as well. I had one removed at the dental school and ended up bruised and traumatized. Thankfully, a year later I was on my Husband’s insurance and could address it more appropriately. But, I feel your pain. It is a NASTY and horrific illness that is not well known. Sadly that includes emergency room physicians and other medical staff! It’s like a double whammy when you’re already so ill. I am SO sorry you too had to deal with it and hope you’re on the mend!! ❤️‍🩹 😢

We had a dear woman who was an old family friend and she was in the hospital with something a quack doctor had diagnosed. She got no improvement from that treatment. My mother, who had no medical training, suggested to the doctor that that our family friend was perhaps suffering from a badly abscessed tooth. The quack doctor told my mother to butt out and there could be no connection between the tooth and her problem. We got a new doctor who had the tooth removed first thing. The woman was well within days. Don't assume your doctor knows anything.

Garlic is a natural antibiotic. Years back, I had an unbearable toothache. I went to a dentist, but the soonest they could pull a tooth was 2 weeks. I CONTINUALLY bit down on thin slivers of organic garlic for about a week (while sleeping also). I also frequently cleaned my teeth with activated charcoal and flossed several times per day. I haven't had a problem since. The total cost was probably less than one dollar ... plus 3 or 4 days of insane pain.

Root Cause is on Tubi for free. I watched it recently. I recently had one root canal redone with ozone and laser. It was infected at the root. The dentist who did the root canal years ago missed seeing a canal. I will have the other root canal redone next week. Neither molars gave me any pain. I had a Cone Beam x-ray that showed the infections. Fortunately there have been advances in dentistry .

@@roman6135 Great to hear you healed. I was having health problems . From what I have been reading the problems might be because of the root canals. There is no telling how long the infections have been there. I am feeling somewhat better after having the one root canal redone. I now know root canals need to be monitored every 2 or 3 years with a cone beam x-ray. After years of having the root canals, no one mentioned that to me. Crossing my fingers I will never need another one because I likely won't have a new root canal. I stay away from olives now unless they are cut in half. "Without Pits" on the jar means nothing 🙃

Worked in the dental industry , have seen this many times. Mostly when people are having reconstruction dental procedures. Having teeth, where you have had teeth for years. Also it is important when doing dental procedures ( cavity removal or root canals) dental dams are used. Great oral hygiene is essential.

It's a shame that dental care was separated from overall health care due to insurance greed. The teeth are part of the body and can cause terminal problems. But, many Americans can not afford dental care and because teeth have a separate category other than overall healthcare. A dentist can deny service if a person has no money or insurance, leaving millions to suffer due to dental issues.

I had an abscess due to an impacted wisdom tooth pushing onto next tooth and not coming through, this caused a HUUGE ABCESS …(in march 18) they drained the abscess and told me to book in for removal… “AS IT MAY CAUSE CANCER”….thats what she told me!!! Anyway for personal reasons I moved from that town after splitting with my partner so never got the tooth pulled but had no more issue with it- guess what happened ?!Later that same year I was diagnosed with Metastatic Bladder Cancer (23rd December 18)!!! How about that!!! I’ve never heard of this apart from that particular dentist telling me, and I’ve never looked much into it apart from online etc… I’ve asked oncologist dept. Consultants and they all said “no”… so I really don’t know what to make of it??

I had a fracture in the tooth. Took me almost 3 months to recover. Was a really hard year. I lost 30 lbs due to it. I'm really thankful to my current dentist she actually cares about me.
