I was in the crowd for this concert in Montréal. It was seriously amazing, one of the most outstanding show I’ve ever attended. The songs, the lighting, the performance by Stromae... it was a truly unique moment. Glad to see non French speakers enjoying his art too. Your comments are on point.

When he said "ready for the nineties" he followed up with samples from songs from the nineties.. Can you recognize them? Faithless, Crystal Waters, Snap! ... and others!

I live in Montreal and my friends invited me to that concert and I didn't go because I thought it was too expensive. 😲 Now I regret EVERYTHING

If you ever visit France, you'll notice that (on average) they are much lighter / less overweight than people from the USA or UK. Generally they have a different attitude towards food, they value quality over quantity, and careful pacing instead of eating fast. Excessively fast table service is considered rude/impatient.

Stromae is a fashion designer as well. His artistic flair shows up in his clothing line as much as in his music genius. Definitely check out this entire concert, it's fantastic!

I feel like you'd get a better understanding of this song (and all of his songs in general )if you'd watch the official video clips (Stromae is the kind of artist that put a lot of effort in his music videos to get his point accross). His songs have always deep and meaningfull lyrics and as you noticed in this song although it appears to be a party anthem it is much more complex. Its more like: "We party to forget the difficulties of life" than "Lets party to forget life difficulties" if that make sense. wooooh that yellow "on point "thing almost hit me in the face HAHAHAHA! waouh , i love this concert so much i watch it every year with loic's selfocracy show ! i miss stromae , he's married to a stylist and they have a brand together. thank you so much for your reactions ! during the concert he plays a lot with the audience and his sens of humour is quite brutal ahhaha an "english sense of humour " i think with a lot of sarcasm i love it . Are you planing another reaction about LOIC? it would be awesome if you could react to his last video "mr mme bruxelles" (there are subtitles in english ) that's powerful and the first time he sings in french . have a nice day , night, whatever you want! ahah! ;) thanks again!

Stromae has a brand with his wife :) But he also made videoclip for other singers, he directed "Hostage" by Billie Eillish (you've made a reaction of this music video btw xD) and "IDGAF by DUA LIPA for example ^^ You should react to "Tous les même" it's the best music video that Stromae has ever made !

Correcting the translation. "Avec les bras levés, comme ça je vous entends mieux... Aucun rapport": This is him saying random stuff on stage. "Put your arms up, that way I can hear you better..." /realizes what he just said "wait no that doesn't make sense" lol

The talking thing might be because around most French cultures, Slam poetry is popular and a lot of French rap stems from adding hip hop and dance music to slam poetry

I really like your reaction videos because you are not simply watching it and then that's it, no, you really try to look for the meaning and what's hiding behind the lyrics ! Could you please react to 'Quand c'est' and 'Formidable' but not the live version because the clips are very interesting 😊 I also really like 'Mr/Mme' by Loïc Nottet (he sings in french in this one but there is english subtitles) and Neon Gravestones by Twenty One Pilots.
