@@janam.c.s76 his advice still applies then. But it is a process so don’t be discouraged even if the progress isn’t visible immediately. :) also maybe get some outside help from a professional to speed it up a little

So this is what I gather from this interview: Stromae is Belgian, who grew up around Turks, Moroccans, Congolese, and Rwandans, loves LA weather, speaks French, Flemish, Spanish and English, is inspired by Japanese, Ethiopian and South American music, collaborates with Chinese musicians, would like to work with Colombian, American and English singers, enjoyed performing in Montreal (Canada), and loves Mexican food. A real man of the world.

As a fairly new fan of Stromae I have to say I’m quite surprised by how incredibly down to earth, humble, honest & relaxed he seems in this video. Very impressed with multi-linguistic skills. He also doesn’t seem to take himself too seriously like some artists have a tendency to do these days. Terrific video!

I'm a huge fan of Stromae, I might even say I have seen almost all his interviews available. But this one has to be one of the most interesting/fun cause it seems like a very casual coffee conversation. It was a very insightful interview and learned more about my favorite artist. Merci Fuse!

Wow his English is so good. I like that he says his wife is his best friend. I saw a video of him being harassed in his car once while he was eating and he was so polite to these idiots who were being so rude. So calm. Shows what kind of a person he is. He’s so talented too. Proper artist.

The music is fantastic but the lyrics did me in. If you don't understand french and think Stromae is just party music... You're wrong. His raps are super real; goosebumps and tears real. I compare him (like many do and was not my idea) to Jacques Brel. Glad to have this icon back on the scene

@@m00nchxld8 papoutai means nothing to english speakers. it's not a word even in french but "papa ou tu est" means "dad where are you" it's about absent fathers. You are right, they should subtitle these vids

Two things: 1. 5:47 this was SO profound that I had to think it over a couple of times 2. I’m so glad he mentioned the Montreal crowd as his favorite because I must’ve watched this concert five times and it’s seriously one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately, just on KZfaq. Watch it ASAP if you like Stromae.

Incredible video for sure, but not so simple to shoot. It was in fact quite difficult and a huge risk for him to expose himself like that in public, and he has said that he felt really nervous before the shoot and even depressed after...So yeah, an extraordinary music video but not his favourire to shoot!🙂😅

the struggle with anxiety and suicidal thoughts were triggered by a medicine he took to prevent malaria when he was on the African leg of his tour (if not mistaken, it happened in Rwanda, the country of his father).

I like how he tried to explain verlan (the fou vs ouf and maestro versus stromae) 😆 I speak French fluently so I don’t need it explained but it’s very confusing to the Anglophones/Americans and I’ve given up trying to explain how it works
