JR how would you compare the Gem in comparison to another video review you did on the DV8 Collision. I get one chance to purchase a new ball and would value your opinion. I am a lower speed bowler with decent rev rate and am looking for a first ball out of bag. I’m asking you this because I won the Collision yet I can trade for the Gem. I just want and value your opinion TY

Do you remember the original defiant? Since this has the same core. The og defiant really loved when you slowed it down and give the ball time to read the lane and shape up.. it also would keep continuing through the pins it loved oil and loved when you came around the ball. The gem reminds me of that but cleaner in the front and little sharper in the backend compared to the og defiant man i miss the defiant. Be nice if they came out with a core half defiant and half critical theory lol that would be insane-!!!!

@@cardinalcopium5088 I have a Proton and will have to disagree. My Proton was strong at first, but then became weak with more games. I tried surface on it but it’s still weak. My Altered Reality is stronger than my Proton. I will give the Gem some time before I would consider buying one.

It puts just a little bit of moisture from your breath into the thumbhole. Not so much that it gets wet and slips out...but some people have trouble holding onto the ball if it's completely dry especially if they use a rosin bag a lot.

I don’t mind the burnt up conditions for the balls people are gonna play on those conditions but literally no one is going to throw this on the burn. I’d like to see you just throw the ball on the condition it’s kinda intended for

The strongest ball ever is going to still be the AMB Particle from Visionary. That ball was stupid and laughable when I tried to throw it out of the box. I had to take it all the way to 4000 and polish for me to be able to use it.

You got that right.! I still throw the amb solid quite often because it hits like a train . Actually I finally just bought a used amb partical off ebay. Can't wait for the plugs to be done so I can try it out.
