The human eye consists of several parts: 1. **Cornea:** The transparent outermost layer that helps focus light. 2. **Lens:** Behind the cornea, it further focuses light onto the retina. 3. **Retina:** A light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye, containing cells that convert light into signals for the brain. 4. **Iris:** The colored part of the eye that controls the size of the pupil and thus the amount of light entering. 5. **Pupil:** The black center of the eye that adjusts to regulate the amount of light reaching the retina. 6. **Optic Nerve:** Transmits visual information from the retina to the brain for processing. 7. **Sclera:** The white outer layer providing structural support to the eye. These components work together to enable vision.

Thankyou fr the video! Very helpful...writing the basic and summary for myself - Cornea - outer layer Iris decides the eye colour ( sometimes we say he has blue eyes...that blue part is iris..) Just centre of iris lies the pupil...light enters thru this ,pupil controls how much light should go inside..it expands when less light surrounding so that more light can enter and when sunshine then it becomes small... Behind pupil is the lens... when light pass thru lens it falls Directly on lens which is convex lens.. ( thicker centre and transparent ) which is hold by ciliary muscles.. these muscles change the shape of lens ..when things are far - muscles relax When things are near n close - muscles contracts Between lens and cornea is the watery substance called aqueous humour..this provides nutrition to eyes Inner layer ( inner layer is called eye ball) .ball is retina where image is formed..it is also called screen and it consist of numerous nerve cells ...nerve cells of 2 types..cone cells which is sensitive to bright light and rod cells which is sensitive to dim light.. Between retina and lens, is also watery substance called VITREOUS humour..it is jelly like substance ( transparent )and it provides support to eye Nerve attached to retina is optic nerve which is connected to the brain and it carries info from eye to brain There is blind spot in retina where image is never formed..and there are no nerve cell present When we see far away objects, light comes parallel and ciliary muscles don't need to force or adjust a lot but we see too near things, lines come diverging and muscles need to adjust a lot
