Structure decks are fine and fun to watch though on the topic of progression series.. Would it make them more interesting if you just picked a type (Dragon/Warrior/Spellcaster/etc), started from the first box release -> to today, modifying those decks with each new set that comes out. See how they progressed over time, basically.

This was a blast to watch. Definitely more enjoyable than the old structure, the old one was nice but this had more energy which was great!

I dig this but I think it would be even better if you allowed eachother to build using as many copies of whatever cards are in the deck list as you want. Basically as if you bought 3 of the same structure deck and constructed around that - might give a *little* variance that makes it even better. Just my 2 Pennies!

The structure progression does make for more competitive duels idk which is more entertaining you guys could literally play with anything and I'll have fun watching

I got both these decks for my 11th birthday. Had so much fun with them as a kid. Loved the video!

Man, this was such an throw back. My first deck actually was this zombie one and I still have it to this day AND I still main zombies (Zombie World decks). Also, I absolutely LOVE Red Eyes Darkness Dragon! Yes, it is absolutely trash today, but I still have flashbacks of playing against my friends and they brouth it out with a bazillion ATK because of all the dragons in the graveyard

I know it's more work but getting another duel with 3x the structure deck to change up the decks into more competitive ones would be fire. Like having that as the 3rd duel as a potential tiebreaker.

I think it would be a cool idea to let y’all each get three of every card in each structure deck to kind of make your own deck. It would let you I’ll be a bit more creative with your deck building

Definitely like the structure duels so far. These first 4 structures were my THING

I like both versions of the progression series but with some tweaks they could be much more than they are. For example: adding a booster box set in addition to your structure deck for extra customization and maybe do more than one booster box at a time with added variety of having one set that's much older versus one thats much newer. Put them up against sets that they wouldnt normally go against because of their release date.

I actually still have these decks in paper from back in the day. The zombie deck was cracked. There should be a pyro burn deck coming up if you stick with these that's also nuts.

Yeah I understand the change. Most progression series don't have access to every card but they do get to keep some cards from old packs that would give them the chance of playing cards of 1 archetype. I kind of wish Master Duel had a draft format for this reason. You would be able to draft cards from 1 specific set and then make a deck where the minimum is 20 over 40.

I love how i never understand any pf these videos yet im still here for them still so entertaining and ps no i never watched Yu-Gi-Oh growing up i was watching dbz and naruto at the time on adult swim aka Toonami for all my og’s out there

Yea!!! Structure Decks are definitely fun!! What about the OG starter decks from duelist kingdom?? Seto, Yugi, Joey and Pegasus

You could start grouping sets into groups of 2 or 3 for the progression series. Gives both of you a bigger card pool to mess around with and more variety to have more distinct decks from each other. And while there will still be cases of a batch still having support for something not in the set, if you bundle sets together like that the support doesn't tend to be too far behind or ahead so you can maybe make something work out of it. And since you'd still be doing things sequentially, everything will still be the same "era" of yugioh so the power level of the decks will still have a pretty slow incline.

you should try arch-types box of battles! random draws from the box and you build a deck from that arch-type only

Rather than just copy/paste the structure decks I feel like using the structure decks as a base and then being able to modify them with the latest set(s) in the progression would be better. That way you have more options in what to go with. Hell, you could even make a rule that lets you run one older or newer card per deck for shenanigans.

I love those new style, but what about adding a wheel where you spin a booster pack set up to the point that the starter/structure deck was released and can add it to you list of usable cards for all duels going forward? Kinda like how master saga with dzeef is going

With the set progression you could just make decks themed around the new support in the set or only use deck build sets like a recent example being grand creators

How about trying the _very first_ (Konami) Yugioh sets? I'm talking about Series 1 *OCG* sets. Maybe have it be 2 sets per duel (i.e., duel 1 is cards from Volume 1 and Booster 1, duel 2 is Volume 2 and Booster 2, etc) regardless of who wins or loses, so it doesn't lose its novelty too quickly. It would be a good way to properly show the _full_ evolution of Yugioh as a card game, and showcase some super early sets a lot of people in the West have probably never seen or even heard of. As a testament to how old these Series 1 cards are, the first TCG set already contained cards up to Volume 3 and I think Booster 3, skipping six packs released in the span of about half a year. And if you're wondering where to find the sets, searching "Series 1" on the Yugioh wikia leads to a decently organized list of all the sets within it.

You should do a dual where you both try and lose. Like building a deck that forces your opponent to win. Weird idea, but could be entertaining?

How do you use the Unlimited cards in master duel? My friends and I cannot figure it out. They can't be crafted and just having them in the deck in an Unlimited Room, still won't allow use of them
