I am an addict in recovery. I've got just 3 days clean. I've battled with this my entire life. The needle was forced on me at age 7, by 2 "trusted family members". That continued til I was 12, when I got too old for them. I continued that addiction til July 23rd, 2019. And I remained clean up until just a few days ago. Your music is a constant reminder that I'm NOT alone in this walk to recovery. Also lets me know that no matter what I've been thru as a child, that doesn't mean I have to continue to pay for mistakes that weren't mine, that weren't made by me. So, thank you! But I made it and like you, I share my story with any and everyone willing to listen and for those that feel like they don't have hope.
