He's short, his superhuman senses get recognition, AND they showed his lethal level of expertise in martial arts. THIS is Wolverine 👏👏👏 I also loved how they made Logan take some serious damage as well and didn't portrayed him as some sort of supernatural being that can dodge every hit. The hunters worked hard, but it wasn't enough.

The attention to Wolverine’s animalistic details was great. They always fall short to show his raw beast side and this is the closest that anyone’s gotten to it. The battle within himself to keep from turning into that beast and completely losing his human side is one of his greatest stories.

The "Weapon X" story line that appeared in Marvel Comics Presents #72-84, with artwork by Barry Windsor-Smith, and the 4 issue limited series "Wolverine" with artwork by Frank Miller from 1982 are to this day the best Wolverine media.

I feel like magneto might’ve been too much of a “magical” choice. Sabertooth would’ve fit the scenario/era better. Magneto would’ve been too OP, unless you have arrowheads made out of wood

It’s the fact that his fighting style is a character in itself, it’s perfectly suited for taking damage and using that to his advantage. Healing and taking damage are all apart of how he fights

Imagine an entire short movie of him fighting a berserk Saberthooth or Wendigo of some kind in a viking setting. I would watch an entire movie like that. Also, I loved how glossy and sharp the bone claws looked, not the stupid bamboo claws, he also got them snapped and fought with 1 hand, until they grew back.

i don't think they were bone claws were they? they looked like metal to me but idk. it'd make sense to me if it were regular metal used instead of the adamantium substance. that'd be an amazing touch. i'll have to watch the original video in full screen to be able to tell. but i agree. imagine a berserk Sabertooth vs a Feral Wolverine in a viking setting. man oh man, talk about a chef's kiss😮💨

@@RegReg02the creators confirmed that it was indeed his bone claws. It just looked like they were metal due to how shiny and sharp the appearance gave. If they were metal, they wouldn’t had snapped off and broke like that. Of course, the bone claws still healed back.

It's a great but also a telling thing when A smart and passionate group can make a better short than DIsney and the MCU can and wouldn't do this film because it's "too graphic" but this is Wolverine at his essence, just imagine "this" version in Deadpool and Wolverine!!

Oh they can do it! But short fan films in general are always violent because they’re using their own money to make it. No studio to hover over them and tell them what to do. But if MCU wants to go dark and gritty like this, they can. They just can’t jump straight into it like this, they have to have a pathway in so that it makes sense.

I watched this a vouple days ago and completely lost my shit, I wasn't expecting anything close to this it caught me off guard but in the best way possible, I spilled my lunch and everything watching this but it didn't matter bc this was the best 10 minutes ive had in a long ass time, nothing from Marvel in the last few years made me feel like this 10 minute film did. Marvel needs to leave Disney bc Disney would never let them do something like this it took a miracle for Deadpool and Wollverine to happen and you best believe that'll be the only Rated R marvel movie we get but if they wanted to bring there company back they would give us substance like these guys did. Id watch a series of Viking Era X-Men, Marvel should fund them and build a series on Amazon Prime with this crew, keep it away from the MCU like its in an alternate Universe. Id watch this and the MCU if Deadpool saves it that is, I have High Hopes for Deadpool and Wolverine I strongly feel like its gonna be amazing but they gotta keep that shit going after Deadpool. Man Im happy lol this was a 12 out of 10!

when the multiverse storylines started with the MCU this is what i was expecting with it. creative and sometimes radical different versions of the characters we already know. this short was a godsend.
