As a northeastern Indian ,Korean culture has been dominating especially our state Mizoram...I have watched Arirang shows and dramas ever since I was a kid and korean dramas and k-pop has dominated us which makes us so different from most of the other Indian states as we looked different and dressed different and our older generation in our culture would say that it is koreanization,as a joke but somehow true... But we were discriminated often because of that in other states because we look like Chinese or korean as Indians..But I think k-pop culture has made a huge impact that people began to accept many things that we as a Mizo had been so interested about for years ... And if you come to Mizoram and greet someone in korean ,anyone,they would reply you and greet you..I am a mother of four. But I know very well,we know very well what is k-pop ,the idols,the drama kings and queens..
