I did it by mistake because of the annoying order they put things in menus. I quickly closed the game before it could auto save and my glowing spot came back.

@@marshmallo8246 You can bury 10k bells in that shining hole that you find everyday and a bells tree will grow in that spot. You can get 30k bells grow on that tree. There's even a chance that you bury 99k and get 99k x3 few days leter. In a word, if you bury bells less that 10k, that would be a loss.
