Stryker LX 380 - Trolling and Ice Breaking

Took the boat out on a beautiful calm day to try out my new downrigger and fish finder.
Alot of the lake was covered in a thin layer of ice that seemed sketchy to go through with an inflatable boat.

Love the mount on the bench. you should cut the bolts and use acorn nuts they are rounded at the end. Great video

Thats Awesome, an LX ice breaker! I just got an LX 420 - How has yours held up? Any water or air leaks?

Its held up great so far. No air leaks or water leaks. Had it out about 20 times. Stored inside and a coating of sunscreen every winter.

Cut those bolts down and use a acorn nut so they can't rub on anything also hiw did you mount the transponder for the sonar

The transducer is suction cup mounted to the transom.

How are you liking the Stryker? I just picked up a 380HD myself. Excited to get it out once the water is soft again

I am really satisfied with the boat so far, haven't had any problems. That's cool you got the HD version, I wanted that as well but opted for the LX due to the weight as I often transport and carry the boat alone. Have fun and be safe out there⚓✌

@@BCMountainLife Same to you! I figured a id get a little extra durability in key areas. I like your setup with the downrigger. Future upgrade for me
