Also at 5:45...FDO is reporting that they are "...expecting seven 'end cycles'..." Again, looking for help/guidance on what this means. Thanks.

1 year late but here goes: it's actually 'seven N-cycles'. Entry begins at 400kft alttude, the shuttle is descending at 0° bank angle. When a drag acceleration of 3ft/s is reached, active closed-loop entry guidance is started. In a nutshell, this algorithm calculates a desired vertical speed value and the bank angle required to achieve it. At the start of closed-loop guidance, the Shuttle is always descending faster than the desired value, so guidance keeps the bank angle at 0° for a while to stabilise the descent before banking. N-cycles is a measurement of the time the Shuttle stays at 0° bank, measured in cycles of the guidance algorithm. 1 cycle is 1.94 seconds. A higher N-cycles value means a steeper reentry trajectory, so it's a critical parameter in deorbit planning. There are rules on the N-cycles required for a safe reentry, which also leave margin for if a failure develops in the middle of the deorbit burn surce: Entry, TAEM, and Approach/Landing Guidance Workbook 21002

@@giuliodondi Hey! thanks so much Giulio!!! I wrote a short story narrative about what it's like to be a Houston Flight Controller and Firing Room operator and have used my knowledge for most of it. I interviewed Norm Knight (former Flight Director) and former BOOSTER Officer Ed Turcotte for some specifics but always ran across details that I needed help with. This really explains the entry roll maneuvers and I thank you for your time!

Oh dear NASA.......You are not exploring where you think you are exploring. Who has heard of "Sheol"? Outer DARKNESS. This is not good my friends. We have heard of an angel called lucifer, who says in his heart "I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God..................I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High" I love you all and Jesus loves you all and is showing many people in the world in 2020 that we have been doing bad things here on the earth, and terrible things up in the sky, and that we have ALL been deceived and truth is being shown. Exploring the heavens is not exploring at all, it is entering into a world of darkness, where there is death and evil spirits. God made this world for us and we are destroying it when we "ascend" up to "space". I call it "darkness". The blackness of darkness.

eftupworld religion is darkness. Belief in God is ignoring the truth of the universe in favor of fairy tales. You are darkness.
