Damn!! Came upon this site by happenstance. Didn't know who this dude was but was intrigued to hear something about Fender's perplexing Jazzmaster guitar. Ended up staying for the whole 18+ minutes listening to some of the best fret-board knowledge of chording & note playing I've seen yet on Y.T., LOL!

Excellent demo of the fantastic attributes of this great guitar that took me a very long time to discover. My JM gives me the most beautiful clarity and flexibility of tone I have never fully found on any other guitar. Recommended!

I think this is the best demo of a guitar I've seen. You played a lot of different genres which is something most reviewers don't do. All the others could learn a thing or two from you. Great playing as well.

That color is beautiful! Love that you got the matched headstock. I have a Jaguar in Candy Apple Red with the matched headstock and this video made me think I might need to get a Jazzmaster too!
@StuartRyanMusic

I love the matching headstocks on these things - I think it works better on JMs and Jaguars than it does on Strats and Teles but maybe that's because I'm so used to unpainted headstocks on the classics. All the best, Stuart

@Clucky Plucker suit yourself, I think they look cool as hell. There's video of joe pass using a jazzmaster or a jag, can't remember which, though it was obviously short lived. I think jazzmasters are quirky and unique looking without being absurd. If I saw somebody at a jazz gig with one, I'd dig it.

Hi Jack, they are really cool - the only thing I'd advise is to try a few different JM models as they are all quite different, some are more Tele-like in their 'spikiness' tone wise etc
