This video seems to be comparing apples with oranges, rather than being a meaningful brand comparison. The problems shown in the video with the USA made pair seem to center around them not being offset snips, not problems with the quality of the basic tool. You are shoving around the material because the non-offset design does not make it easy to go through the material in the way you are doing, and that probably accounts for the reduced cut quality.

The older Stubai's were better though, when they were beafier and the right cutting shears's handle was red just like the left one. Better steel all over. Guess they realized that that making shears that never ever wore out wan't the best business idea. : ) I work as a metal roofer in Sweden btw, and our company uses only Stubai tools, be it shears, seam pliers or hammers.
