Our houses in Africa are made of mud plastered walls, that are made of wooden poles, with grass tached roofs. Your houses are built on concrete floors and walls. Your roofs are covered with clay tiles, corrugated fiber and twigs may not hold for this long, but you restore them. You have electric connections and still store firewood. You do a marvelous job together to give hope to these elderly people to live in a more modest setting. Gob bless you all.

@@valdelicesilva255 I agree, why only fix one part of the roof and not the rest of the roof, you can clearly see holes in other areas. I don’t understand stand that logic fix all parts of the roof. The floor should have been mopped since they found things unsanitary and harmful to the old woman’s health. 🙄🤔😩

@@murieljames4022 credo che non abbiano molti mezzi economici per farlo è lavoro volontario di carità fanno quello che possono, non devono fare tutto ma l'indispensabile poi saranno le persone che ci abitano a lavare e buttare cose, riparare tende. Riparare un tetto come quello richiede molto lavoro e materiale. Loro hanno iniziato poi sará il nipote a proseguire.

You have to realise she is 85 , lost both her son and grandson . She may have had a period time with depression and also maybe Dementia. We can never know what this old lady has being through. Great job cleaning , fixing and painting with limited funds , we THANK YOU

I have nothing but respect for you and your crew. I must point out something that botheres me though. I'm not an environmental nut, but i do know that burning plastics sends devastating caustic chemicals into the environment. These fumes cause so much irreparable damage. Losing a loved one is traumatic, no matter how they died, but she lost her family, my husband died and I’m still struggling with losing him, so how can she cope with that grief? I thank you for your kindness and compassion towards her, let’s hope she manages to find her way through life again.
