I never noticed that about the stars on the carpet. Great tip! What really helped me in getting a good idea of the size of the Dream (I have been on the Magic and the Wonder, but not the Dream yet) is the fact that it was docked right next to Mariner of the Seas, which was the last ship I was on!

You left before it got better the action part of the movie was a bit after the time you left (the story exposition with the ballet). I love that Nutcracker Disney version. I have no idea why people dislike it and what people expected lol it is based on a ballet...

Mr. Kay is after my own heart with all the sweets!!! It was so cool to see the two ships next to each other! I think for my first DCL I would choose something small like the Wonder and then work my way up!

Wait... this channel exists! This is amazing! Disney cruise line is like my area of extreme expertise, I’m more knowledgeable thought in the dream and fantasy, I could rant on those for hours on things I’ve done, things I seen, things to do, layout of the ship, the ships itinerary. Not to say I don’t know as much about the other magic and wonder, I know lots about all of them. I even tried starting another channel to put into words but I just don’t have good lighting to audio, so I stoped uploading five months ago, and even still I know more now then I did before. By the way the differences with the dream and the wonder, there are tons including places to eat, the dream has 4 different places to eat that the wonder doesn’t have, including, vanellopes, floes cafe, enchanted garden, and remy. The wonder on the other hand has 4 places the dream doesn’t have including Tina’s, tritons, Pinocchio’s and Daisy’s. There are more differences but I just mentioned one but there are lots more. Fun fact the total number of different places to eat on all Disney cruises is 19 not including bars

i love your Dad hes so awesome! i hated how cold it was it was when i was on my last cruise November 26th-30th ... it was in the 70's but with no type of sun and a bit of rain! i also missed a port because of it but you make it okay to miss ports youre so awesome!

I have been binge watching all of your cruise vlogs and it’s been making me want to plan a cruise so badly!! Only problem is that the Disney cruise line website has been down for maintenance for a few weeks now 😩. Love watching your videos, keep them coming!!

We have been in Nassau on The Wonder when the Dream comes in. The horn battle makes the day and yes port days are a great time to spend on the ship.

When I went on a cruise in April, the Magic and Fantasy were scheduled to be together in Grand Cayman, a tender port. Unfortunately, the boats could not dock, so the visit was not possible. However, we still got the horn battle, which was great! Nice vlog as always!

As cruisers on the Dream, we probably missed each other strolling between the ships by a matter of hours, maybe even minutes. :) We watched a number of your Dream walkthroughs to get a feel before we went, so it's a shame we didn't happen upon you! The vlog's a delight, sir.

After this most recent sailing on the Wonder my husband and I agree that our favorite ship is the Fantasy. It doesn't necessarily have the most exciting itineraries, but if you are looking for a relaxing sailing with the best amenities that DCL has to offer, you cannot beat a 7-night on the Fantasy (well a cross-Atlantic or a Panama canal cruise might top it, but we are not at a point yet where we can take that many days off at a time!) Also, I agree with your Dad, dulce de leche ice cream makes the best lunch!

Hey!! We were on the Disney Dream and had the Wonder docked next to us at Nassau. We heard that the wonder didnt make it to cast away due to weather.. Fortunately We were able to make it. :) we were at Nassau on the 11th of Dec. I think we were neighbors!! Lol

The magic also has the drop-tower slide as well

Wonderful vlog as always but kinda bummed there was no horn battle. I set a reminder back in July when the dream and wonder would meet in Nassau. The day finally came and I was late to the Nassau live cam to watch it, then found out you were on the Wonder! So I waited and waited until this vlog came out and saw it never happened

We've been on the Magic, Wonder and Fantasy. All of our cruises have been 7-nights, except on 4-night on the Wonder so the shorter cruises on the Dream have kept us off there so far.

I feel silly, but hearing the Disney horn when leaving a port is just so special and makes me slightly emotional. Glad your dad is feeling much better and enjoying the remainder of the cruise! Looks like Castaway Cay isn't going to happen this time around, but that means you will just need to go for another cruise! Maybe a sibling cruise?!

I haven’t been on the Fantasy or the Magic then there are the new ships coming in 2020 and after. It would have been funny if someone went to Nassau all day and they were tired and wasn’t paying attention and got on the other Disney ship LOL!

Honestly Michael - your vlogs are the best! Even if you were able to dock at CC, it'd be cold... let me tell you, your view of CC would not be the same if you were there on a chilly, rainy day... That's the thing with cruising Florida/ Bahamas in the winter months (Nov to March) it can be cool a lot of the time. We found the perfect time for cruising to be October or May, but you are taking a bit of a chance with the hurricane season in the Fall. I haven't worried though, I have complete confidence in the captain.Winter months are fine too if you go further South. However, as you said in the end it's about being on the Disney cruise! And you wouldn't have been able to do the Merry Time cruise if you hadn't gone when it's cooler :). Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I know you love staying on the ship but I highly recommend doing an island tour of Nassau. We took one with “Big Mama” and she was awesome! So loveable, charismatic, knowledgeable and took us to all over to see the highlights: Atlantis, historical buildings, Queens staircase, a Fort, rum cake factory, market to shop for souvenirs, a beach, communities and more; all for $36 each. She gets great reviews on Trip Advisor.
