That Revy bear must have been the one that got hit by a car last year. He was definitely looking both ways as he was crossing the street. Normally our bears would be fast asleep already but so far winter has taken a rain check.🇨🇦

0:27 Norfolk and Portsmouth Belt Line heritage unit. 0:50 NS 6079 running long-hood-forward pulling 9-1-1 and 5642 and two safety training tankers 1:46 Carolina Costal 1501 is in the same livery as NS 8114 (again at 12:27) 2:05 Brightline orange passes an FEC freight train 3:00 Ski Train car on the rear at Galesburg 3:13 some old boxcars 3:44 switch panels in both special flatcars and gondolas 4:34 the safety tankers again 6:14 CSX 3440 is named "Spirit Of Ravenna" in support of the Kentucky Steam Heritage Corp who are restoring C&O 2716 6:50 as the train starts moving, he just crosses between cars anyways (another person at 25:45) 7:09 UP EC-5 inspection railcar 7:57 Reading and Northern covered hoppers, including an ex-Canada Grain one 9:02 this ex-CEFX unit is still in the older blue livery 10:07 Empire Services pass each other (the other one might be the Maple Leaf) 11:43 Amtrak ballast train! A top-and-tail Keystone Service passes the ballast train 12:57 CSX 1976 leading 13:40 an FL9 in New York Central colors! All FL9s were built for the New Haven to run into Grand Central Terminal 13:52 car turns onto the tracks. At Jonesborough, the 'Carolina Coastal Railway' was good to see and read-up about, especially with their GP15s. Same for NPBL at Roanoke - another Railroad to look-up. Some good Freight Roster catches including one of my Accurail FMC Hoppers at Roanoke. Elkhart @10:30 - love the sounds from those two EMDs.

To quote the Extra 2200 South,magazine,Penn Central was a 13D paint scheme,with no imagination! Still looks bad,even now! Oh,yes,the PC logo,had the nickname of mating 🪱worms!! Thankfully,the PC died quickly,but they did one thing,they got the Feds to acknowledge the neglect of the railroads! Silver lining in an otherwise miserable tale! Thank you 😇 😊!!!

Always good to see Revy Bear, and we won't get to do it too much longer till spring. Loved the deer, the steam engine, and oh man, that bridge in Burlington--it was gorgeous. Fort Madison is always fun too. But I'll bet the drivers stuck at the crossing in LaGrange wish *they* could push a button like you do and make the trains go 5 times as fast lol! Another great one!!

Wasn't their a show called Malcolm in the Middle, Maybe that's his name, You really can't get much closer to the middle than that but a Train i am certain would help this person get off the tracks no problem, The vehicle will probably be a fair bit shorter though. Hope you got an Airbag. Really nice Video, Loved the Action, Some really nice Trains. Cool Stuff.

Maybe the city needs to put a ramp at the intersections in Ashland so cars that do get stuck between the track can back out without going over the drop off. I can;t understand why people continue to pull on the tracks there

When are they going to put barrier gates across the tracks to prevent cars from turning onto the tracks? It is such an easy fix.

Whether that would be a workable idea or not since that would block the tracks most of the time when the trains have the right of way would be an extra complication that might not be advisable. The main concern would be where would the funding come from to pay for what would be doubling+ the cost of gate protection at all grade crossings. You might want to check up on the cost of a single crossing gate installation and also, just as important, it's average maintenance cost each year. That makes it NOT so easy a fix.
