Yo guys,
in a few weeks I'm heading back to Japan for the Oaska fishing show with the legends from Zenaq. Thought id give you a look at the first trip i did over there from last year. This series was orginally on Fishflicks so i re edited it all for the good people of youtube!
Please let me know if you wanna see more from this trip.
Thanks legends, Happy new year!
Cheers, Brooksy.

"Where do you start" is exactly right! I was in a Japanese fishing tackle shop a couple of months back and came out with so much less than I wanted, totally spoilt for choice and of course everything is in Japanese so difficult to get sizes and weights and prices!

Japan is so surreal. Both the modern and traditional. Like it or not you must admit an amazing culture. Bucket list item fishing in Japan. Living the dream baby. Could you mention a little about the cost of fishing permits and limits etcetera?

18:00 building a tapered leader with rabbit fur??? I can imagine this guy 200 years ago rigging up his line on a samurai bow. Totally fascinating. You could do a whole episode on this gentleman. (Sorry I forgot his name and wouldn't try to spell it anyway 😂)
