This is probably the best Shenmue playthrough. The stoned nature of the game blends well with the butthash infused vibe of Aris. It's so hard to do a no-smile run when Aris plays Shenmue! I always keep returning to this series the most out of Aris' stuff

I rushed to watch the VoDs on twitch cause I feared they'd be gone soon. But thanks a lot for uploading this to youtube, I honestly have gone back and watched the entire Shenmue 1 playthrough more than once. Watching Aris play these games is my favorite shit.

He keeps making the joke that this was secretly a dreamcast game finished 20 years ago that was given a HD polish, sad thing is if that was true it'd actually be a great game instead of just ok. It'd actually have the VF fighting engine, a way better story and characters.
