Did you do a video in disassembling the starter?

Hi Chase! No, did not do a video on disassembly, they are pretty basic to disassemble. Thanks for watching.

@@r1lark Alrighty, nice videos! And great choice of vehicle!. Any suggestions or advise on what I should and shouldn't do when I am disassembling my starter?

Chase, just take some pictures as you disassemble it, especially showing where the brushes and brush connections are.

Hi this is good showing us how it's done , but I really wish you would have shown it being taken apart .thers always little tricks to know how to get these things apart Thanks.

Understood Larry. Two reasons I didn't show disassembly - one is that I forgot to video it. The other is that the disassembly is about four minutes and five screws, and is well covered in the Shop Manual. But I do very much appreciate the constructive input and also appreciate you watching.

sorry,i agree with larry,we start off with clean, new looking parts with new bushings and dont know how they got to that state. its like starting a book on chapter three...if i had a shop manual why would i watch you?

Lydia, I would always recommend having a Shop Manual if you are working on a Studebaker. I can't speak for all videos, but mine cannot show all the little details that are included in a Shop Manual. For example, torque values - sometimes I may say what the torque value is, but not always. Thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching!
