Singapore Airlines SQ24 A350-ULR Business Class Experience Singapore to New York JFK

As our vacation draws to a close, we have one last splurge with Singapore Airlines' business class on a 18 hour flight back to New York JFK. Service was great and the Book the Cook options out of Singapore was delicious. As expected, Singapore Airlines provides a comfortable and consistent product on this ultra long haul flight.

I freakin' love Singapore, Changi & The Jewel. I was there a few months ago, and stayed at the Changi Crowne Plaza (9:04) in a room with a runway view. Took plenty of plane-spotting pics at Changi Beach Park. This trip is on my avgeek bucket list for its longest flight status (until Qantas takes the title in a few years), along with the United Island Hopper from Hawaii to Guam (doing that flight in about 10 weeks), an the Alaska Airlines Milk Run (next year possibly). I know from experience with 16 hr transATL flights I'm not going to have a problem with a flight this long.

I am glad to see you back. Your quiet, detailed matter of fact videos are rare. Especially among other KZfaq viral business class travelers that gear their content more towards the view count. Wow thank you for your really kind comments. Yeap those were the trip videos I enjoyed the most as a child just hearing the cabin sounds! I dont have any plans to change how my videos are done since I am also not that talented with editing.

I rarely use a lounge as I find many are like a salesman convention trying to get as many freebies as possible… re the difference between the Piper and Charles, I wouldn’t describe it to me as metallic but I find the Charles much smoother. Excellent video shame you didn’t feel well which I can only assume was so something you ate but glad your family enjoyed the experience

Well done, sir - Song Fa Bak Kut Teh is such a good choice for a meal in the sky. The strong meaty and peppery flavours certainly overcome very effectively any dulling of the tastebuds caused by the change in altitude.

You can also get the same service from EWR on SQ21/22. SQ22/24 when combined with MNL-SIN segments on SQ921/919/915 beat PR126 MNL-JFK meals. followed by the return trips EWR/JFK-SIN-MNL SQ23/21 to SQ918/910 > PR127 JFK-MNL

I did a trip from NYC to Australia on SQ in business class, including this ULH flight. A great flight experience, but it is one very long flight. After this, I still think I had enough flying and not yet eager to set my foot on a plane.

@@AsiaTravels When I flew the route, from JFK to SIN they fly over Atlantic and Eurasia, with total flight duration being 19.5 hrs.

Odd that you didn't get pre-departure drinks. My wife and I flew business class both ways from San Francisco to Singapore to Perth back in November 2022 and we were offered drinks on all those flights. I usually got water but I did order the Singapore Sling for my last flight of the trip.

I have Global Entry so for me it was about 3 mins to go through immigration about about another 15mins for luggage. If you don't have global entry immigration is going to be much longer up to 40 mins depending on how many arrivals occur at the same time.

Yeap had a lot of miles built up and managed to get 4 seats. I was just reading how a lot of families are in a similar situation and it is making it really hard for everyone to book tickets with miles.

7:28 Just a minor correction. I’m a Oneworld Emerald member. Oneworld only allows its Emerald members access to Oneworld airlines First Class Lounges, Sapphire members can only access Business Class Lounges, NOT First Class. 😅

Weird I get access to AA flagship lounges when I use oneworld sapphire traveling on AA.

That's if you are traveling a OneWorld carrier. SQ in a Star Alliance, and there aren't many lounges in SIN belonging to other alliances.

Dude get either a GoPro or DJI osmo 4 so your videos aren't so shaky by using EIS. But please don't upload videos like this. They make people dizzy and your message gets lost.
