Never seen this machine. Willie Studer sure made some beautiful machines. I owned both the A-77 and B-77 Revox decks. They were just glorious running Ampex 456 tape.

Anyone that can restore and calibrate a C37 from over 60 years ago is a tape machine wizard. I personally prefer the A80 though - less maintenance and much longer hours of stability.

Several jaw-drop moments during this video of such a fine restoration... then the playback begins. I hadn't prepared for 'Speak To Me / Breathe'! Mindblowing playback - may I inquire as to the source? My desire for gear has went up a notch or two! What an excellent job, and thank you for such a nicely filmed video.

Congratulations for your beautiful job! One questions: This heads at the same of A77,B77?

Thanks, no the heads have different parameters because of tube amplifiers inside (inductance etc...). You can not use Revox heads here.

Hi. Could someone advice me a 1/2" 4-tracks machine for not all money pls? They are either 8-tracks, or 1/4". Or I don't know how to search

Kondensatoren ist die einzige elektrische Vorgehensweise welche man elektronisch elektromagnetisch nicht stören kann. Wären die russischen Abwehrkräfte noch auf dieser Basis könnte man viele junge Leben retten. Was ist Abfall.
