"A" for effort to Scott on the idea of building this thing, but in order for it to be a real race car and not a freak show they need to get a handle on controlling this thing so it can make a full pass without going crazy or eating the wall, brave man indeed.

Clutch backed way off in order to allow the car to hook. Obviously a necessity, since it's far too much to ask for any blown nitro car to hook on a no-prep track otherwise. It's hard enough to get one to hook on a professionally prepped track at a national event. Doesn't matter - the sights, sounds and smells of this monster are the reason for its existence, not setting some sort of ET record. I love Scott Palmer.
