They posted some behind the scenes photos showing off more of the figures capabilities and possibility. You also can see his backpack completely, and though its not entirely accurate, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Im so excited for this figure!

My main issue with the matrix chamber is the fact is unpainted red, if they had a grey or black plastic insert where the matrix clicks in would have looked far betyer

The trailer's definitely bigger, but it just had very slight moldings reminiscent of the two blue side stations, rather than actual blue side stations, and the repair drone is a bit tiny. All that will need 3rd party improvement, it looks like. I do appreciate the better blaster, the axe, roller, and blast effects though. Based on what I see, the legs transform mostly correctly - fold back - instead of spin 180° then fold back.

at 3:48 - I honestly prefer having the wheels on the legs show, rather than hide away. It simplifies the transformation and it looks better to me.

I agree, however overall I’d say this figures look is better, perhaps you can mis transform him to have the wheels on the outside

One small thing to note about the matrix chamber & the matrix itself. The molding and details are similar to that of the 86 Magnus, they just didn't bother painting it like they should have.. And the Matrix itself is also the same mold used with the 86 Magnus figure. Which, if I'm not mistaken, is the same mold that was used for Scourge/Laser Prime. So it's a little bigger than the over-used Earthrise/Kingdom mold. I personally wish they made an entirely new, screen-accurate mold for the matrix, so I definitely share your disappointment lol. Here's hoping a 3rd party upgrade kit can remedy the issue.

@@AJLord I can only understand getting two as some like to keep one sealed in the box and one to muck about with. Anything more than that feels unnecessary

The backpack looks to be the door, bumper, and front grill, maybe it rotates around, with the robot torso containing the wheels within the torso sides like MP1.

The figure does need reprolabels to put the truck mode silver stripes back. The matrix chamber is better than before, but I agree, it's underwhelming. This chamber was likely at the end of the budget, and will need some nonnef or tfsafari upgrades to make it look more like the movie version.
