All I got to say is Sunstreaker's car mode looks great. Speeding down the wartorn highways of Cybertron as the Decepticon forces break through the front lines. -I like to think that if he had physically appeared in the Bumblebee movie, we would have seen him as the Autobot that said "Look out, incoming!" Before Soundwave, Starscream, and Shockwave made their entrance.

Part of the reason the cab looks off is because the hood pieces are connected to their hinges backwards out of the box. Popping them off and spinning them around should make the front look a good bit cleaner.

It's pretty simplistic that it's almost like the Transformation of how the G1 Sunstreaker transforms. It's a fact at a #1.

This might be completely unrelated, but I just got a sealed Alternators Wheeljack off of ebay. Man, I can't believe you used to be able to get an accurate replica of a licenced car with a great looking unique robot mode for £20, I really wish Hasbro would bring back some sorta "pseudo-Masterpiece but cheaper with new designs" kind of line.

Apparently most copies of Concept Synstreaker have that issue where the windshield doesn’t sit flush in vehicle mode due to a misassembly issue. Including your copy. The panels that for the headlight/front bumper sections are the majority of the time installed incorrectly. At 6:03, you notice how the windshield doesn’t sit flush and that there is a small triangular notch cut out on the rotating hinge on the calf panels that form the front of the vehicle mode, that’s the part that is missasembled. It luckily very easy to fix, since those panels are held in by friction. All you have to do is pop those panels off, rotate the hinge 180 so that that triangular notch is facing the windshield. Then pop the calf panels back on and now the windshield will sit flush in vehicle mode.

This figure just has that satisfying vibe to it the face is a love action face and it can pose but feels good to fiddle/transform. My buddy has it as a sunstreaker/sideswipe favourite characters and the car is nice but the robot looks good until you try to pose him

Epic review PerspectiveEnd!! I got Sunstreaker just to have him stand besides Gamer Edition Sideswipe, since this is only the second time the Autobot Lamborghini brothers were given figures released at the same time, the first time was the G1 figures in 1984. lol Keep on being amazing.

I might pick this up as my only BBM SS figure, just for the Transformation. I just love how fun some good transformations are.

Got this guy yesterday and I can say I was not expecting him to be as good as he is my only complaint is the shoulders and the paint (which I fixed by customizing it) anyways great review you never disappoint 🤩

Yeah, I really like this thing too. Despite its flaws, it’s just a really solid deluxe figure. It’s honestly near the top spot for me for my favorite Cybertron mode BB movie Autobot. At first it was a toss up between Wheeljack and Arcee, but now it’s a toss up between Wheeljack and Sunstreaker. I’d also like to comment how fast this thing and SS gamer Sideswipe (of which has also gotten some pretty great responses for) were available online for direct purchase. Usually it’s always pre-order first, but not with those two figures. They were ready to be delivered right out of the gate. Oh, if only more Transformers figures were that readily available after announcement.

For me this is one fo those figures that I'll get to fill out the crew, but it's one I'm happy to wait on

Removing the shoulder pads honestly improves the figure a lot, restricts the posing less and makes it look less cluttered

Awesome review! I have this guy and he is such a fun figure despite his shortcomings. For the Transformation: for the cab kibble at 6:48, the side windows can move outwards a bit more, as there is a tab on the arms for them to fit over and make the cab look more coherent and complete. Just be careful, as there is some resistance from the main cab piece while doing this. It isn't anything to where I ever thought something might break, but it does require some fiddling to provide proper clearance. I hope my... longer than expected transformation advice is helpful and that you are having yourself a great day! Later!

We all have favs that aren't "great" the recent BB Shockwave comes to mind. Extremely limited articulation, but his transformation is quick easy fun.

I personally am not a fan of the weird fan wheel thingies. If they wanted a hovercar aesthetic, they should have been angled down. If they wanted a normal wheel aesthetic, they shouldve just made normal wheels. Honestly my big problem is that they dont break up the sea of yellow on the side view like how the black of black tires would. Honestly i wouldve hated them less if the fan rim thingies were orange like the splitter at the front, which would preserve that they are part of the car shell while also breaking up the side of the car like real wheels.

Don’t tell people not to look something up; that just makes them look it up. Case in point, I looked up the toad, and it's… a toad. A toad I can’t tell where its face is, but I'm not freaking out.

I think that Sunstreaker has so many "ok" to not good molds, this one having at least a very tangible personality in his design helps. The alt mode is really slick, and i kinda love how all the BB Movie guys all buy the same shoes.

Handling this figure gives me the same feeling of handling the ROTB mainline optimus. I just can't put it down😂

hinestly, I follow you cause sometimes you're a fun goofball, also you're one of the few reviewers that are willing to play out the bad parts of a figure, which, as someone who has a pretty small colelction budget, is really helpfull, on top of reminding me of AVGN era angry reviewers, which is not soemthing you see often for transformers. but yeah, those shoulder designs should have been left in the unicron trilogy, because apart from a few specific cases, I always see a way to easily engineer more normal shoulders.

The thing i almost immediately noticed about this figure when i transformed it was that his car mode and even roughly where everything goes in transformation very close to the Triggerbot Backstreet. The Car mode is VERY similar to backstreet, such that if you repainted this Grey and orange, made the windows black and made the guns silver, it would be a pretty convincing update to backstreet. the style of the car mode is similar, the placement of the guns is similar, even the way the wheels are is quite similar. the original backstreet figures rear wheels weren't real wheels but rather sculpted bits that are shaped like wheels, which the Inlaid tires of this sunstreaker seem to call back to.

Honestly, I may get this figure someday, but he his not a priority. He is not something I will avoid if I do find him. And I LOVE the car mode, it gives me something that I have always wanted in a vehicle mode for a transformers figure.

Last weekend I FINALLY found Core class Arcee. One of the only places nearby I can get transformers is Target, and after having nothing for the past year, I find like 15 core class Arcee’s on the shelf. I was excited to finally find it, but wary of the figure When I opened it up, I was still slightly disappointed, but as i messed with it more it’s really grown on me. It’s been a week now and I still carry this thing everywhere to fidget with. the transformation is fun, the alt mode is great, and the robot mode has a certain “action figure” vibe i can’t quite put into words. it’s another objectively flawed figure that i really like

i preordered the fig a month ago and just arrived on Saturday and even though I don't have a personal connection to sunstreaker, I'm loving it so far. Maybe because it's my first hasbro fig after so many years (I just got into collecting transformers). Am hoping for an upgrade kit for it to give the shoulders more range but overall, it's one solid figure.

Honestly no matter how bad a figure may be as long as the transformation is great hand candy that's what makes the fig great look as seige side swipe mold it's such a mid fig but it's transformation is so much fun tho flip them

Fun fact: you can actually cheat a little upwards movement at the head by slightly lifting the pannel it's on. The best part is that it doesn't look awkward since the pannel itself blends pretty well with the rest of the body

Honestly I'm just happy my TRUE favorite yellow autobot car is getting some love for once. They easily could've made an A-list autobot for this but I am happy to see more characters in the Travis Knight style. It's incredible. The figure? I think it's alright. Ratchet/Ironhide is still my favorite mold from this line and here's to maybe a sideswipe down the line? PLEASE JOE HASBRO!!

I'd say that Sunstreaker is a fun figure to mess with, but I felt nothing when getting him originally, probably due to him and Gamer Edition Sideswipe being just collection checkmarks immediately after completing SS ROTF Devastator. I ended up getting three of Earthspark's Terrans despite not watching the show, and thankfully ended up rekindling my drying interest in the franchise. Warrior Thrash is fun and proof Hasbro is overcharging Deluxes, Warrior Jawbreaker takes some of the worst aspects of the Kingdom/Legacy Beasts' figures (like removing beast mode limb articulation for steps like figures such as United's Cheetormorph and Silverbolt), alongside him having a lack of paint and gaps aplenty, and Nightshade is the best Earthspark has to offer, with their only weak points being their robot head being ugly compared to their show appearance and having similar sideways hip range to Gamer Edition Barricade.

Hi PE, Guess what I got a second copy of MP Skyfire. So I'm officially more hardcore than you. I got both legends, but I sold the TNT cos the shoulders were very loose. I mean the TNT has double shoulder joints, which is good, but only the hotrod shoulders work. Incidentally, ThatToyGuy calls them Triiggerhappy shoulders. Anyway I got siege but not Vincoroor cos it's a KO sold at commander price. I sold my Thrilling 30 too. Anyway, I just want to say I figured out what the issue was with compressing his backpack. If his wings are tucked too deep, they will clash when you attempt to collapse the backpack. So, I pulled the wings out a pit, compress the backpack from below, then the sides, and it worked without issue.
