Like I said in the video, this look is really just a documentation of one moment in the space - it's really never like this where everything is clean and organized. The one thing that's stayed the same / has been consistent since my last art room tour is the mess!

I remember my two favorite books as a child being "A little Princess" by Frances Hodgson and "Mio, My Son" by Astrid Lindgren, I still have them today as a memory :)

One of my favorite books is Richard Scarry's Best Word Book Ever, I used to stare at each page for long stretches of time and come up with stories in my head and put myself to sleep every night like that as a kid

Really great video. I think your light clean style really makes the most of the space you’re in. A person acquires sooooo many different types of art supplies while in art classes and it can really junk up a space quickly. You have a calm voice and no overly distracting or annoying sounds so that’s rare and refreshing lol I will for sure subscribe!!👌🏻👏🏻👩🏻🎨

I've always admired your curation(?) As much as you emphasize how there is no rhyme or reason to your room, I see thoughtfulness in every object you choose to acquire and keep. And to top off a video of such a beautiful space with this note: "this art room is chocked full of art supplies and other materials but it really doesn't matter. Having a well stocked studio or an art room at all for that matter doesn't make an artist. People have done a lot more with a lot less." Amazing. This is why I love watching your videos, and following your content in general :)

When I was young I adored the Brambly Hedge series by Jill Barklem! Her books are extremely charming and quaint, featuring anthropomorphic English mice. The illustrations are to die for and I still love flipping through them to relive childhood memories.

Favorite Children’s books: Anne of Green Gables, The Secret Garden, The Jungle Book, The Eleventh Hour, Chronicles of Narnia, The Little Prince, all of the fairy tales-blue book of fairy tales, red book of fairy tales, Irish fairy tales (yeats), Russian fairy tales, American folk tales, The People Could Fly, etc. I could go on...SO MANY GOOD ONES. When I was little I read a book about a girl who finds a old round window in the attic of a old castle-like house that allows you to travel through time when you climb through it. It's called Moon Window and the cover art really left an impression on me as a little girl. It's absolutely gorgeous.

I have the privilege of a studio to work from since I got married recently and moved out of my parents' place into a house with more space. I'm collecting ideas, and yours is spectacular. I enjoy seeing less clutter and more space. But what I really like is that line you ended with "People have created a lot more with a lot less." Beautiful! Thank you for sharing this with us! I have so many favorite childrens books however I remember reading with my mother the Lewis Carrol books. Loved the Walrus and the Carpenter. I did love the illustrations in the book. The mouses tail. was cute. poem written in the shape of the tail. :)

As a little kid, my favourite book was the Brambly Hedge collection by Jill Barklem. It's full of the most beautiful watercolour illustrations by the author, which I can still get lost in for hours. The Little Grey Rabbit books by Alison Uttley are also a delight! I guess my favourite kid's novel (besides HP) is the Magyk series by Angie Sage - pretty similar to HP but with it's own sense of humour and a really wonderful setting 💛anyway, thank you so much for filming this gorgeous tour!

My "stuff" is never in the same place 2 days in a row either, it was very nice hearing that! lol A very short list of my favorite books growing up: Charlotte's Web, James and the Giant Peach, Island of the Blue Dolphin, and any Lady Bird fairy tale (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Jack & the Beanstalk, you name it...IMHO the illustrations were amazing) I love that you collect children's books, too. :)

lovely collection!! my top 3 favorite books are howls moving castle, the talisman by stephen king and peter straub, and sabriel by garth nix! i also love the dragonlance saga, pride and prejudice, and there is a 3 part book :dragon song, dragonsinger, and dragondrums!!! all of these books i have mentioned kept me company growing up!

A children’s book I absolutely adored when I was younger was this book called “Fairy Houses” by Tracy Kane, i actually have just discovered it’s a small series! The illustrations and story are so nice!
