In a clearing in the woods, a short drive out of Nashville sits MØXE, an extraordinary studio founded by multi-instrumentalist and producer Jordan Hamlin. Though she cut her teeth as a touring musician, Jordan has now produced records for the likes of Lucy Wainwright-Roche and the Grammy-winning Indigo Girls.
Jordan leads us on a tour of MØXE, taking in some ingenious and hand-made acoustic treatment, and explains the design and ethos behind this unique, residential recording facility.
