I think the thinness of the bookmarks is fine but Im wondering if it wouldn’t be better for you to group them into specific collections of 3 for 5 (or 5.50) instead of just 1 for 1.75. Just a thought. (Some people tend to have more than one book on the go anyway and it might be more worth shipping if it came in a bit of a bundle)? 🤷🏻‍♀️💖

The tracing paper looks great! I think the little "sneak peek" it gives before taking it off the card gives it some unique appeal.

Hi Catherine! I've been working on bookmarks too and because my printer will only take up to 300gsm I needed a way to thicken them, I've used cold laminate sheets (basically clear sticky backed plastic) and apply it within the black printing frame before cutting on my Cricut, works like a charm!!! :)

The "cute girls" bookmarks are adorable. I did not expect to love those! Fluffy girls would be lovely too!

I found your channel recently and I have been binging on your videos. I love your work! You are such an inspiration! I opened my etsy shop about a year ago and I hope it may be even remotely as successful as yours.

I love the color of the blue however I do think the tracing paper adds while the blue detracts. It like wraps it up nicely but gives the focus straight to the card.

I think you should go with the tracing paper but change the sticker font color to white! The navy lettering matches the navy car stock really well but changing it to white would compliment the tracing paper better :)

Tracing paper is fancier :) and yeah that 300gsm paper is quite thin but maybe because of the paper type. I never use any satin paper though.

Lovely. Have you thought about using velum rather than tracing paper because it'll be more hard waring baring in mind there going through the post.

I have to say, I prefer looking for printable bookmarks on Etsy or elsewhere. Still, I think you are right about the thinner paper. I think it would work well for bujo's or other journals. As long as it didn't tear, bend, or get creases in it super easily. It looked like great quality from what I could tell though.

I read that 300gsm is a different weight in coated paper that has a shine/satin etc then uncoated paper. Paper that is coated is thinner 300gsm then 300gsm of uncoated x

As far as 300gsm, wow! It does look a wee bit flimsy, I don’t know how I feel about that. But yea, am surprised that paper is 300 gsm, shouldn’t it be more stiff? I don’t know understand either.....

You sound like me about stationery, one of my fondest memories was having a sleepover at my friend’s house when I was about 10 and her mom bought us these little tennis shoe stationery sets. I have a bookmark shop on Etsy and I think yours are so beautiful! The paper I use is 270 gsm and I have over 2000 5 star reviews, with loads of them commenting on the quality of the paper! I've kind of wanted to try something different, but I don't think I should since so many people have said specifically they like the paper! :) That's my experience - hope it helps you!

The bookmarks look great but I agree that paper looks thin for 300gsm. It doesn't look that thick. I've always used Permajet Fibrebase Distinction 320gsm for my bookmarks and it's really nice and thick. For greeting cards do you find you have to set them up so they have a white border around the image on the front of the card or do you just prefer that look? I could never get them to print borderless like some people seem to be able to, I always needed to create a template and print it with a border or the picture wouldn't be centred properly.

Catherine you must try opcon-a antihistamine eye drops for your allergy eyes - it’s the only thing that works for me and I’m the same - I have horrible allergies to my doggo but I love her too much ahhh! But these are over the counter medicated eye drops - they sting a bit but they truly work miracles with the pain itchiness and swelling. ❤️ great vlog per usual lady!

Hello lovely! I have purchased the same printer as you (used all my savings eeeeeek!). It arrived yesterday and all my prints/greeting cards aren't great...There is soooo many settings and I wondered what settings you use on greeting cards? There are settings on the print itself for the paper, then photoshop and the printer settings. I just would love to print my design without them being grainy and awful dull quality. HI, I think the thin bookmarks would work better, I love to keep my books in shape and although I have some lovely bookmarks I often use shopping receipts as they are fairly thin and don't bulk up my books.
