Love the journals. And so glad you shared your op shop clothes - when you said “you probably won’t be interested” I yelled at the screen, “yes, I’m interested”. Love that coat - I’m in tassie and the temps have really dropped the last week or two and I’ve got a few gorgeous big fluffy cardigan jackets from op shops in the past two weeks. I'd personally make birthday themed shaker tags with the confetti and keep the boxes for storing small knick knacks afterwards. Also, I enjoy your vlogs! They are very inspiring and have me wanting to go and create something.

Excellent thrift shop hauls too. The special cross-stitch replacement was a great find. I’ve added confetti pieces in clear cello bags to two of my scrapbooks. The confetti boxes are gorgeous and definitely worth keeping/scanning. Rue’s dress and hat are so pretty. The custom journals are exquisite. Beyond beautiful work in progress journal trio. Oh my goodness the gold embossed one with Baby Dear image cover is amazing. Such a clever idea to use an egg plate to hold the beads. As always perfect background music. Those confetti boxes, use the inside confetti to make little shakers (as an idea) or fill balloons with them at a child's birthday party. I would have loved to request a journal but missed the chance. Love your process.

Yes, PLEASE! More videos like this! I especially liked you showing what you got on your shopping trips. It's a personal touch, like a sister or dear friend sharing their treasure finds.

I'm not sure about the boxes but the confetti in the boxes would create a wonderful effect on paper if it's the same confetti that stained our clothes. You know, sprinkle the confetti on paper, then spritz the paper and dust off the confetti pieces when dry. Even sprinkle the confetti into handmade paper, that would look lovely!

It is so much fun to enjoy your working process and your videos could very well be twice as long. You have such a pleasant calm demeanor, it's extraordinary and wonderful.

I don't usually sit through longer ones like this but it was so relaxing and I enjoyed it so much. Your books are so quaint and beautiful and for those of us who make journals I think it did justice to show the time and effort that goes into them. I would love to see how you template and sew in your signatures. I have only learned to sew in with crocodile and eyelets. I would love to learn how to sew in without them. I love seeing your process. They are beautiful. How on earth do you find so many colorful children’s books. I check my local thrift shops at least once a month and very rarely do I see any good children’s books. I do find lots of fabrics and crafting items though. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent.

Color with the confetti, get an image and fill it in with confetti. I used to do that and loved how it would look!

you should sell just the inserted pages as a journal kit in your shop, that way more people could get something close to the journal without having to wait and never get the sales, i imagine that would be easier than an entire journal

tHANKS FOR SHARING. iT MUST BE DIFFICULT TRYING TO CREATE, VIDEO, EDIT AND POST AS WELL AS FULLTIME PARENTING. i (sorry about the capitals), liked this video. I think it would put less pressure on yourself doing it this way and making so many made to order journals at once is definitely a time consuming task. Your vlog is only a half hour, that's not long so don't worry about things like that. I pause when life interrupts me watching, so I'm sure others pause and get back to it also. You create beauty and beauty takes time and effort. See you next time
