And you’re so welcome, it really is such a lonely business being self employed, I’m an illustrator and barely see people outside of my little bubble haha! We get so caught up in our own thoughts we can feel so underprepared and like everyone else has it together, but that’s definitely not the case, and it’s been such a lovely thing seeing your business blossom from the outside! Hiya 🤗 Sorry to hear you had such a horrible message, you’re doing amazing. It’s only natural to compare yourself to others but you know what, you’ve got your own business, you’ve been doing it for over 10 years 👏🏽 I’m 45 and spent my whole life working for these large organisations - basically working to live and not really having a passion for what I do at all 🤷🏽‍♀️. You are doing what you love and every time you bring out a new product, talk to a shop etc that is growth. You are an inspiration to so many, keep going and keep your chin up ♥️ xxx

I wish I lived in Wales so I could go to one of these pop-ups to meet you and shop! You have the cutest designs and products. Everything is made with such great care to detail and quality. I love seeing your growth and I know that someday hopefully much sooner than later your business will take off greater than you ever imagined! It's "funny" how when we compare ourselves to someone else we see is further along than we are, only to realize we all have similar thoughts and concerns. Whatever you do keep pushing forward! You got this!

I haven't tried this before but for the laser cutting burn marks on the sides of the letters you could try acetone or rubbing alcohol to get it off with a q-tip. As someone who hates sanding, if this works it would save a lot of time. Definitely do it on a test piece first in case it ruins it. Your studio vlogs are such a joy to watch!

How Mochi looks at you 23:18 😍 Love all the cards and the sweatshirt and the new laser cut products and everything you do! Keep at it, you'll smash the wholesale stuff! x Also remember we all work and do things at our own pace, we have our own story and growth and things going on so just believe in yourself. We all do the comparison thing from time to time and is hard especially when you're working on your own x

As a fellow small business owner, the nasty messages are the absolute worst! I've only had a couple but they really knock your confidence, right? Especially when we're working so hard and it's usually something totally out of our control that's got them annoyed. Sending love your way, I love your videos!

You might want to get the air assist as well. It’s suppose to reduce the burning to zero.

I've heard this! It has a fan built into it but I assume the air assist is an extra add-on? I'm such a newbie loool xxx

@@CoconuTacha it is an add on but it will just about eliminate the burn marks. I’ve seen videos with out and then with it and there is a big difference.

Yes ❤ so much on our shoulders when we’re the only ones making and deciding 😅😅 - 🎉🎉 so great that you made it into those shops! That is so hard - I keep toying with the idea myself with local shops but wonder if it’s worth avoiding them if they say no 😮😢😢 - ugh the community here might be too small 😂😂 - I don’t know. I wish you well on that technology. I really empathize with that frustration. Such a fun log with so much to share. Thank you 😊😊

Thank you! Sadly this was my mother's and must be coming up to 20 years old 😐 lol! It was from an office/stationery shop back in the day that I dont think exists anymore. I've never found another paper cutter that's as good! xxx

Is it not standard to have a protective layer on your acrylic to avoid burning? Every time I've had something laser cut its always come with a little paper layer that has to be peeled off with all the burns on it, leaving the acrylic unburnt

See I was listening to a tutorial that said to remove this plastic layer first??? But then I've also heard not to remove it!? So next time I will try a piece and not remove the plastic layer first :D xxx

I think you have accomplished a lot in your young life. You are meticulous in your designs and the care you put into packaging your designs. You support yourself in this business. Not an easy thing to do. Maybe you could get an art student intern from a local University to help you. You do it all yourself. Thanks for an enjoyable video as always.

Hi there! I think it only shows the top 3 tiers, and then you have to click 'see more' to see the Coconut tiers (idk why Patreon does it this way?).
