FYI; SM wanted to make his solo debut back in mid 2019 but Kai rejected by saying he wasn't confident with his vocal ability ( he had no idea how addicting his vocal is to us :( ) Some of us still think, the timing was perfect, because the music he did this time every one of them is a bop & suits his vocal really well. He'll shine more in the future.

@@ash-rm5pj Kai's solo debut plan was originally scheduled to be happen in 2Q of 2019. Where SuperM debuted in 4Q. So it's not a rumor dear. After he appeared with PCY, Baekhyun in Amazing Saturday, he "claimed" that he doesn't really work up with his vocals as much as other members do, pointing to BBH & PCY. After that programm, that article cam out. As an EXOL, i wanted to put all the blame on the agency, trust me. But when i found this news, i stopped myself. We all love Nini's voice but he was less confident on his vocal ability because he had always been focused on his dancing

I think it's not delayed, it's actually in the perfect timing. I'm a fan for years of exo esp kai, and during his early years he kinda lacks in vocal, that's why he became one of the lead rapper and main dancer. As year passed by, kai's vocal really really really improved! Then from being a lead rapper he became a lead vocalist of exo. All these years he's really learning and improving his singing. So I think, this is not delayed. Kai debuted with a perfect song, at the perfect time.
