A few cues are up at www.eocues.com .
Today on Studiotronics, we're building a full-splice pool cue from scratch. This will be my personal cue. Ebony forearm into quilted Sapele. No talking, just woodworking. Enjoy
I recommend Daisy for carbon fiber shaft tubes: www.carbonfibe...

3:35 - That made me chuckle. Ain't it always the way? "Old faithful" finally gives way to the replacement and you realize what you've been missing. A relief to know the money wasn't wasted is always a bonus.

Young man you are truly a legend . There are not very people building a fullsplice with veneers. To think Brunswick did it 100 years ago. But I can only wonder what you will be producing years to come .thanks for your video

Wow, amazing craftsmanship! I'm getting started making cue sticks, nowhere near the level I see with your work. Watching your videos is quite inspiring. My machine shop is set up and I've got some fronts started, that's about it for now. I know I've got a long way to go but I'm looking forward to learning various techniques. Thank you for posting these videos!

Really enjoying watching your videos, extremely satisfying. Years ago before KZfaq, many of these techniques your using were considered a bit of mystery to most civilians..lol. These secrets were not shared often. Been wanting to try this since I was like 15 years old. Now 44, I’m slowly piecing together a work shop in a basement. Only a few components away from being able to start something. Lathe being the main one. 🤷🏻 Cnc maybe also… I think I’m gonna try to build these things the way I want. As everything is so expensive. Almost pulled the trigger on a Vevor lathe the other day on Amazon..finally found one with a 38mm spindle bore and 32 in distance between centers in the 1000 dollar range. But as I came to understand I would be dumping more money into it to get it to function properly and accurately….idk. Any ideas? Thanks Danny

Полностью согласен, с таким оборудованием можно делать что угодно и как угодно. А вот в смысле технологий ОН действительно делает абсолютно логично. Правда не показывает приёмы доводки некоторых сопряжений. Но оно и правильно.

If you have access to a drum sander (some people call them thickness sander (Wrong name or use)). That is how i get my veneers to consistent thicknesses. I can get 1/32" without fail.

And if your looking to donate a wrapless full splice with sunburst/flame veneers I'm your man! With curly maple forearm and handle. Maybe ebony handle? Or if you're willing to take a few hundred for it, I'm still your man! =P Or maybe I can trade some labor for a weekend. A 12 hour friday, sat, and sun sometime? 🌞

Your work is really precise. Would you please buy yourself a pair of high quality safety glasses and wear them religiously? It only takes one splatter of CA or a wood chip or broken tool to change your life. Glad to see someone else using brite tone but I have to tell you I wasn't happy with it after a year or two. It simply isn't as durable as auto clear coat so I finally built a good protective booth but I'm spraying with 2k aerosol and getting fantastic results and no odors inside.
