One of the things I really appreciate the most from this series is the fact that Ae hugged Pete when Pete was degrading himself like that in the football field. I love how Ae showed how much he loves Pete by hugging him instead of forcing and abruptly kissing him like most confessions go in other series.

4:20 - 4:36 im so obsessed with these part where we can see Ae's eyes slowly shed tears while having a heavy conversation about their feelings with Pete. I'm still mesmerized everytime seeing that part cus its so beautiful but painful too at the same time. Perth really do a good job acting as Ae who is easily mad if things getting complicated bcs hes always straightforward about his feeling

People need to acknowledge the fact that Ae is a DEMISEXUAL individual. He has not even shown a remote interest in regular locker room banter, Pond's obsession over porn, etc. In the initial episodes he has been so confused not only with his sexuality BUT WITH THE FEELING OF BEING ATTRACTED TO SOMEONE. When he says it's not about being a girl or a guy, he just likes Pete, he is not being the stereotypical bl character where they say "I don't like men but I like you" (which I really don't have a problem with tbh). Ae literally has just felt for Pete only. That exists. Period.

5:46 this scene gets me everytime. How Ae pulls him in for a hug and not a kiss. They are good friends first and everything is secondary to this feeling. The level of respect portrayed by Ae and Pete for each other make me wonder how Tharntype is even related to this series (but I guess after you get over the absymal first two episodes, Tharn and Type’s relationship does grow splendidly).

Okay, so I just realized the impact of Pete's words, "You should kiss with a pretty girl, not a gay guy like me." Many times, gay people, whenever presented with real, unconditional love like Ae gave to Pete, it comes as if it is wrong, and to some worse extent, it is a sin. We think that we do not deserve to be treated with legitimate love because of who we are, and because society thinks that it is wrong and it is not normal. We feel like other people's energies and efforts are wasted on us because we think that we can't give them a real family, a real life, and a real future. That is why we oftentimes push people away, not because we want to, but because society puts pressure on people that in order to be successful, you should marry a girl, start a family, and enjoy life. Gay people should be at the margins of this setup, and we have no business of challenging that norm. And I admire Ae for being sure of his feelings and his disregard for what other people might think. And I love that he is surrounded by supportive and loving friends who do not judge their relationship. And BTW, I cried watching this episode.

I misinterpreted this the first time around, but I get it now. Pete wasn't saying Ae shouldn't love him because he would be better off with a girl; he doesn't want Ae to suffer the same stigma as he does. He's trying to protect Ae by pushing him straight. Just as well Ae never cares what anybody else thinks.

I swear the Ae/Pete confession scenes is probably one of the most beautiful scenes I've seen in a BL so far. I'd say top 5 at least.

The thing I love about Ae’s character is that even though he’s coming to terms with his sexuality, once he realizes his feelings for Pete he just goes for it. He never hurts Pete over his own confusion and shows him he wants to be with him & def isn’t shy about wanting to be Pete’s boyfriend. That’s refreshing in a lgbt series for the most part the one who’s struggling with their sexuality is always a jerk. I guess that’s why I like LBC and Ae’s character so much, it’s different. Also love how LBC portrays the flame of a first love, so realistic to what teens feel when falling in love for the very first time.

He’s only 17, but his acting is phenomenal! He can get really far with his acting and I’m definitely gonna cheer him on✨ Mad respect I have for Perth. His delivery of emotions is beautiful, Saint is really awesome too, his really getting the sympathy, awesome portrayal of emotions! Their chemistry is awesome and one of the reasons I’m so hooked on this series💯

The way Perth expressed the emotions through his eyes tho. It looks like his real tears. Perth is definitely one of the BEST actors in lbc series. I mean look at his eyes and expressions. It's like his heart is breaking piece by piece from Pete's each word.

I can't get over James' (Ping's) acting skills 🤯 His role in this show is like the polar opposite of his role in The Effect.
