In this video I share my entire process for painting realistic fur on my Ipad Pro using the procreate app. I use the brush set that comes as standard on the app and also demonstrate my own custom brushes for painting even more realistic fur.

Oh my goodness… I am in total awe. My furbaby just passed away and I miss her so much… I thought maybe if I painted her, the process may help me. Am going to try and learn from you.

This was super helpful for a beginner. It didn’t look EXACTLY like yours but good nonetheless. Now I gotta practice different animal fur patterns, like zebras, giraffes, etc. Also, do you have a feather tutorial by chance?

Incredible! Finally a fur tutorial that explains things. Fortunately I have saved a set of native brushes from each Procreate update as they have removed the touch up catagory in native brushes. I know they put os e in other categories but it is nice to have the actual brushes you used. Thx again. Referring this video to my friends.

damn you now need to buy those brushes. i’m working on digital art skills, and i main draw pets and monkeys (don’t ask.) they’re never good enough to post bc I CANNOT DO DIGITAL FUR you laid out the steps well, so giving it a go

I like this , but it feels more reliant on the Tools than Techniques. I'm using a TOTALLY LEGALLY ACQUIRED version of Photoshop. So I don't have a lot of these tools available ( at least that I've found, yet >-> )

i didn’t think so- but i can understand how it felt that way to you. many art videos have a lot of “i see beginners do (this thing i do all the time)…” and feel personally singled out 😀 this is embarrassing to admit but we’re among friends- UK accents immediately make someone sound fancier and i me. “do this, don’t do that” can sound condescending to me like you said- but sometimes for me, it’s the accent for this bonehead american over here

I am losing my mind on this apps stupidity, it draws like a jumping snail and it undoes things a second or two after I've drawn it and won't let me pull out shapes
